Easy & Guaranteed Perfect Coromons (+ Perfect Coromon hunting methods)

This guide aims to present a comprehensive overview of all the Perfect Coromons that you are assured of obtaining, while also offering simple strategies for acquiring further Perfect Coromons.

Overview

Throughout this guide, I may discuss Coromons that possess a potential of 20 as though they were perfect. It is important to note that this is not the case. However, it is implied that a Coromon with a potential of 20 will inevitably become Perfect after undergoing the process known as "Potentiflation". The Potentiflator[coromon.wiki.gg] can be found in the Training Hub on Donar Island.

Starter Coromon

"For Starter Coromon, it is recommended for players to select opt-in for the Less Extended Course when talking to the lady at the Reception then they should save in the Coromon Lab just before they meet with Professor Nelson. From here, they can keep resetting until a Potent Coromon appears and check its summary. If a Starter has 20 Potential, the summary should read "To Next: 100 / 24"."

Notes

• Coromons' potential is reflected in their appearance. Thus, even before consulting the summary, one can assess the potential of a starter based solely on its color.
  
• I have played this game twice. On my first playthrough, I realized, right at the end of the game, that I had inadvertently compromised the "Caretaker" achievement, which prompted me to start a new run. On both occasions, I managed to get a starter with a potential value of 20 in less than 30 minutes.
  
• The likelihood of encountering Potent Coromons appears to be considerably higher in the lab as opposed to the wild. As a result, a Potent 20 starter can be obtained with relative ease.

Perfection Stone

How to Obtain

• The Perfection Stone can be obtained by accessing the chest that appears in the Player's House following the completion of the game.

Notes

• It is advisable to defer the utilization of this stone until you have acquired the majority of Perfect Coromons. Reserve its use for a species that you are having a hard time finding as a Potent 19* or 20. However, if you do not consider the completion of the Perfect Coromon database to be a priority, feel free to apply it to any creature of your choice.

Potential Stone

How to Obtain

• The stone can be found in the Sun Temple following Chalchiu's defeat (on the pillar behind the spot where the Titan previously stood).
  
• Upon unlocking 9 stars in the Battle Dome, you will receive one as a reward.
  
• The top monthly ranked players in online battles may, occasionally, be rewarded with a Potential Stone.

Notes

• After utilizing the potential stone, ensure that the Coromon you used it in has a potential value of 20. If not, reload the game. Repeat this process until the monster has the desired potential value.
  
• It is advisable to defer the utilization of this stone until you have acquired the majority of Perfect Coromons. Reserve its use for a species that you are having a hard time finding as a Potent 19* or 20. However, if you do not consider the completion of the Perfect Coromon database to be a priority, feel free to apply it to any creature of your choice.

Perfect Humbee

Located in Hayville, right beside Noah's residence, stands a tree that houses a beehive[coromon.wiki.gg]. Once you've successfully unlocked the TREMOR module[coromon.wiki.gg], make your way back to Hayville and activate it in proximity to the tree. The beehive will then drop and will automatically be added to your inventory.
The use of the beehive will trigger a confrontation with two Standard Beezels and one Perfect Humbee.

Perfect Slitherpin

In the town of Darudic, there is a merchant who sells three categories of Slitherpins: Standard, Potent, and Perfect Slitherpins. The Perfect Coromon comes with a price tag of 3.194.000 gold.

Perfect Purrgy, Lunarpup, or Otogy

"Abdallah is a couple Potent Scents short of finding his last perfect Coromon to finish his database. After the player gives Adballah two Potent Scents, he will offer you a choice of a perfect Purrgy, Lunarpup, or Otogy. The perfect Coromons are level 25."

Abdallah can be found east of Alavi, at the foot of Frostpeak in Fresia Pass. The associated quest is titled Perfect Trade[coromon.wiki.gg].

Notes

• It is prudent to delay completing this quest until you have successfully obtained 2 out of the 3 Perfect Coromons that Abdallah has available for trade (reserve your choice for the monster that you weren't able to capture).
  However, if completing the Perfect Coromon database is not a priority for you, feel free to select the one you prefer.

Potent Scent

While recognizing that hunting Perfect Coromon with "Potent Scents" is neither an easy task nor a guaranteed success, I have still decided to include this section in my guide.


"The Potent Scent is an item, has an efffect that increases the chances of encountering Potent and Perfect Coromon in the wild by 3 times for 6 minutes."

How to Obtain

• "It can be crafted at the Scent Brewing Kiosk in Soggy Swamp. The ingredients required are:
  3x Cham Fruit, 3x Ber Fruit, 10x Sweetshroom, 15x Zenshroom, and 15x Fungus." (From https://coromon.wiki.gg )

  • "Hidden Cave 2 (Thunderous Cave[coromon.wiki.gg]): Golden chest in the center of the room."
    
  • "Buzzlet Lab[coromon.wiki.gg]: In a chest behind the left fusebox in the secret cavern (requires LuxBoard)."
    
  • "Inn House (Darudic[coromon.wiki.gg]): Chest downstairs beside bed."
    
  • "Grand Palace (Darudic[coromon.wiki.gg]): Chest in the garden training area."

• A total of 15 Potent Scents can be obtained by reaching certain research levels (milestones).
  
• Similarly, the ingredients necessary for crafting the scent can also be acquired through milestones. Once you reach research level 100, a large portion of your rewards will consist of these ingredients.
  
• Upon unlocking 6 stars in the Battle Dome, you will receive 3 as a reward.
  
• Potent Scents are one of the rewards for the top monthly-ranked players in online battles.

Notes

• Hunting for specific Perfect Coromons is much easier in Insane mode, thanks to the benefits of the Lux Lure. See the section below for a more detailed explanation.

Special Notes: Lux Lure and Potent 19

* Coromons with a potential value of 19 may be worth capturing, even though "potentiflating" them to Perfect will require multiple attempts and considerable time. This holds especially true in situations where the creature you seek to capture has a low likelihood of appearing, particularly if you have already captured that species in the past, thereby rendering the use of the Lux Lure ineffective.

Lux Lure[coromon.wiki.gg]

• This item is designed to lure any monsters found in the area that you have not previously captured, regardless of whether they were caught in a different location. 
  
• The item is limited to a single use per area. Therefore, if the Coromon that appears does not meet your expectations, you will need to reload.
  Each floor of a cavern or pyramid is treated as a unique area. Additionally, cavern rooms that have their own maps are similarly regarded as separate areas.
  
• This item is an effective tool for "(Perfect) hunting" more elusive Coromons. If you have already successfully caught (elsewhere, of course) all the monsters available in that area, with the exception of the specific Coromon you are targeting, utilizing the lure will ensure that only that particular Coromon appears each time.
  
• If you have already captured all of the Coromons in that location, the lure will be ineffective.
  
• It is available exclusively in insane mode. If you intend on using it, you can adjust the difficulty.
