It works good on the old Doom II as well -AND in order to load mods i tried using Launch parameters in bottom tab of GZdoom launch menu. It worked as far as I tell. I dropped my mods in the same folder as the renamed Gzdoom.
I typed this in launch parameters box-
-file relite_0.6.9a.pk3 -file SEAN EDIT w weapons TOO NeuralUpscale2x_v1.0.pk3 -file omgwpns_v05.pk3
These are my 3 mods ,one of them I edited by renaming to zip ,did some edits ,then renamed back to pk3 ,hence the funny name.
Lo and Behold it worked -at least for these 3 mods.
I did not really want to edit the Gzdoom ini and my little method of using Launch Parameter box in Gzdoom seems to work -at least in my other Doom II game.
That way I can play my Doom Ps1 roms.
