Tier 10 plasma bomber / Tier 9 SMG fighter

Overview

Everyone who has played robocraft at a high enough tier to unlock the parts has been smashed by a bomber, most have then tried to build one only to find its not balanced or it just straight out wont fly.
the trick of course is finding balance in your aircraft, then matching speed, protection and firepower.

finding that balance can be a tricky act but once you get it you'll find it easier to remake over and over again. the balance your looking for is to have the nose of your plane slowly tip downwards, you dont want it to be lifting up at all or you have to constantly be pressing shift to drive it backdown. (pressing 5 times will bring up a window) that window will take you out of game and can cost you a match or cause you to crash.
so its better to have to press spacebar to bring the nose up. not to say though to have your plane plummit to the ground if you let of spacebar. you want it to slowly glide down.
MY TIP: Build your pilot seat at the front.
for the most part this will help to stop your nose from constantly rocketing into the air and give you a more nimble aircraft.

Building a plane

My plane is made of the following parts.

Thrusters:
i use an arrangement of 9 thrusters 2 of which face backwards to slow me down.
these are as follows:
2 - T10 (sides)
6 - T6 (top)
2 - T4 (backwards thrusters)
Blocks: Tier 10 armour blocks
guns: 5x Tier 10 plasma cannons
radar: 1x Tier 9 radar unit
radar jammer: 2x Tier 5 units
alignment rectifier: 3x Tier 5 units
rudders: 1x Tier 10 unit
wings front: 2x Tier 10 units
wings rear: 4x Tier 6 units
electro plates: are as follows: 4x Tier 9 units, 2x Tier 4 units, 2x Tier 3 units

Fighter Jet

This is where my plane started. with one exception. it had plasma cannons not smg's. but other than that this is how it built it.

as i built it up more i started work on a second plane, This one. and have been working to build this one up aswell. but since it has less parts, is still Tier 9 and only uses 665 cpu i thought id share it aswell since i know not everyone has a bucket of cpu to spare.

the plane has the same base structure minus some defense under the wings.

I've made your plasma bomber, it is one of the best planes I've ever seen. It can be one-shotted if hit in the right place, but I triforced the seat :). Also modified it a bit, it has 11 plasma cannons now, and 6 T10 thrusters, it also has a thruster facing upwards to make it a bit more agile in flight, and to get myself flat on the ground when I nosedived straight into the ground.
