Void Crew Master Captain Guide

It's absolutely critical that every crew has a competent captain, but unfortunately many captains fall short of the glory that true captains strive to achieve. Luckily I have narrowed down the recipe for success so that anyone can become an elite captain with ease.

The Ten Commandments

1. Make sure everyone has their class and build dialed in, obviously with you as Captain.

2. Always void jump as soon as possible. Run to the back to immediately charge upon loading in and pull the lever as soon as it's ready. If your crew can't handle this they can't handle the mission.

3. NEVER ping enemies. You have more important things to worry about and your gunner should be able to lead shots without you aiming for them.

4. Engine trims are the top priority (next to loot of course). It's YOUR engine and it must be kept purring like a kitten.

5. If you see any items outside immediately prioritize them. Don't be afraid to turn on the scoop yourself if you have to, even if brings down the grid.

6. If anyone other than you overloads the grid, do not lecture SHOUT at them over the mic. Make sure your mic clips while doing this to show them how serious you are about this. It's your responsibility to encourage good crew behavior.

7. If the crew is doing EVA, silently leave post to help them. You have piloting to do, make it snappy!

8. Randomly leave the console and stop the ship to see if anyone comments on it. A vigilant crew is a necessity. Do this at least 4 times per mission, more is better.

9. If your gunner says the enemies are out of range, move even further away to promote good aim. Just because the enemies are far away doesn't mean we don't have a job to do.

10. YOU ARE THE LAW. IT'S YOUR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO USE ANY PUNISHMENTS AT YOUR DISPOSAL. YOUR WILL IS THE WILL OF METEM

Fantastic Guide. My crew keeps disobeying me so I sometimes turn off the life support without telling them. Really helps to encourage discipline.
