Welcome back to Delta Force, a realistic first-person mil-sim shooter video game.

Despite failing to find a hostage inside the enemy encampment in Objective tremor, we have found a lead through SIGINT where a high ranking CNLF officer is moving out of a garrison alongside a convoy. Our objective is simple. Wait in ambush, take out the entire convoy, and capture the Lieutenant for interrogation.

This mission was also quite straightforward in that it was a convoy ambush mission the likes of which we've conducted in Peru as well. However, in this mission, stealth is a little important for the initial part of the mission and when push comes to shove, speed and precision are of utmost importance.

I've had to retry this mission for quite a few times on account of early discovery and impeccable enemy aim capabilities. The final time around, the game bugged out in my favour and got the foot soldiers form the convoy chasing me, affording me the ability to isolate my targets and pick them off, thereby thinning the herd before going on to assault and destroy the convoy. In the end, the mission was finally a success. And to top it off, I finally learned how to use the knife. Turns out, the game knows how to implement the opportunity for stealth when it feels the need to do so, making the previous missions where stealth was impossible a conscious choice on part of the developers.
