How to remove Ubisoft Connect's notifications

Having a hard time playing the game because of those stupid notifications? Don't even see the amount of credits you have? This guide is here to help you out!

Can't close this pop-up because the UC's design is terrible, and it also freezes up when you open up the overlay? Well, this guide is here to help you out!

The solution

The solution is quite simplistic: you just have to turn off some of the notifications, which are completely unneeded.

1. Open up your Ubisoft Connect launcher

2. Go to Profile -> Settings



3. Go to Notifications



Here you can either turn off all of the notifications, or turn off some that really are necessary to turn off due to them interfering your gameplay. Your choice, but if you choose the second way - here's what your notifications should look like.

One more advice

One more thing: don't ever use the in-game overlay, because it tends to freeze, resulting in a need to restart the game to play normally.

Instead, use the Ubisoft Connect launcher, and invite/accept the invites from there.

try opening ubisoft connect separately from launching the game, log in, then launch the game itself, then it should work
also, make sure that your ubisoft connect account is the one that is linked with your Steam account, that you can check on Ubisoft's official site, in the account settings

Way to unfreeze the overal is to change resolution via settings. Helped me many times. It's possible to navigate the settings menus half-blind, if You're onm 1080p monitor at the very least
