Introduction
My instructions are going to simply be what you need to do to complete the game and get all achievements. I would recommend experimenting and seeing everything you can and only turning to me if you get stuck.
I have spoilered out the answers to each deduction and, in certain cases, included hints. For each deduction, I've paraphrased the question you're supposed to be answering

Here's some basic tips:
  • This game will make more sense and certain parts will be more resonant if you've already played Staffer Case. For our purposes, all information needed to solve this case is presented in this game. Staffers exist, have highly specific supernatural powers, and a Bureau keeps files and experimental results on these individuals
  • The game alternates between point and click inspection and, when you collect all necessary information, deductions, where you have to present one piece of red text to make your argument.
  • If you're struggling to figure out what you have to argue in a deduction, reread the log and see what the text says when you answer incorrectly
  • This spinoff is simpler than the main game, Staffer Case. All deductions will only require you to present one piece of evidence instead of the frequently requested two in Staffer Case.
  • In the deductions, you present one piece of red text that answers the currently posed question. The game is not asking "which document proves this?", it's asking "which section of which document proves this?"
  • This game has six achievements. Two of them (Family, Reborn) will unlock just by progressing and completing the game. Three of them (Unarmed, Bowie, and Colt) involve using the three items on all five of the things we can interact with and can be unlocked at the halfway mark. The last one, Deja Vu, requires getting a specific key phrase and presenting it as incorrect evidence at the games first deduction. My instructions will point out where you can unlock all of them.
Tutorial, The Safe, and The Son
When gameplay starts, click on the Lieutenant and use the Pencil. Then, pass time twice in a row to have him pass away for the first time
New evidence: Bureau File - Ludlum

If you want the Deja Vu achievement, inspect the Safe on the back wall to gain a key phrase for it: “What’s the safe code?”

Examine the vanity for the photo album. Go through all the photos to get the Album Pictures note.

Investigate the notebook on the couch. Use the pencil, then investigate for the Restored Notes

Deduction 1: What relates to the restored notes?
Hint: The notes are four digits and there’s two obvious uses of four digit numbers our documents

This has two answers: one correct and one incorrect that gives the Deja Vu achievement
For Deja Vu, select the “What’s the safe code? ” line from page 3. If you haven’t played Staffer Case, she references a recurring line from that game: “it’s better to be able to turn around on a wrong path than to be able to get on the right path on the first try.”

The actual answer is the Album Pictures

This unlocks the ability to discuss the photo album with the Lieutenant

Our new goal is to get five affinity points with the Lieutenant before he dies. He starts at two and asking him about the correct pictures gets you one more each, and asking him about the wrong pictures or the safe loses you one point each.
The restored notes refer to the dates of the photos in the photo album. 01/01, 07/15, and 12/24 are all wrong, while 02/25, 10/30, and 12/25 are all right, so discuss those three dates with the Lieutenant in one regeneration cycle.
When he reaches 5/5 affinity, he will tell you the safe code, 04/12. Investigate the safe to get the Will.
Talk to the Lieutenant about the Will to start the deduction sequence against the Son

Deduction Sequence - The Son

Deduction 2: What proves that the Lieutenant didn’t put the will in the safe three weeks ago?
  • Answer: Page Three, Red Text - "The Lieutenant didn’t know about the will"

Deduction 3: Why can we safely assume that the Lieutenant is in a coherent mental state despite constantly resurrecting?
  • Answer: Bureau File, Skill - Resurrective Temporal Regression

Deduction 4: Who wrote the will?
  • Answer: The Will itself, “in the Lieutenant's handwriting”

Deduction 5: What’s the proof that the Son used trial and error to convince his father to rewrite the will?
Hint: Is there any reason to think that the Son did exactly the same thing we did to open the safe?
  • Answer: The Restored Notes

Deduction 6: Why is the will dated to three weeks in the past?
Hint: Why would the Lieutenant write down the wrong date? What would make him think the date's earlier than it actually is?
  • Answer: Bureau File, Extra Info 1, - "Memories disappear on resurrection"

Achievement Unlocked - Family
Final Investigation and Conclusion
You now have the gun, the knife, and the ability to interact with the Son. If you want the Unarmed, Bowie, and Colt achievements, use the pen, knife, and gun on all five things you can use items on: the Son, the Notebook, the Nurse, the Safe, and the Lieutenant

Our new goal is to collect information on the Lieutenant's ability through experimentation
  • Now that the Son’s in the room, inspect the photo album again. In particular, the photo on 07/15. New Evidence - Extra Info 2
  • Use the Knife on the Lieutenant, slice his neck
  • Use the Gun on the Lieutenant twice, and choose to shoot his leg both times
  • Finally, use the Knife and cut open his leg. He will die shortly thereafter

When we gather all the evidence through testing, we will enter our final deduction sequence.

Final Deduction

Deduction 7: What is the proof that foreign objects can remain after resurrection?
  • Answer: Page four - ”A bullet shot into his leg remained after resurrection”

Deduction 8: What proves that items can vanish even if they’re in the leg?
  • Answer: Bureau File, Extra Info 3 - "There’s no correlation between area shot and bullet disappearance?"

Deduction 9: What is the common phenomenon that occurs when we are responsible for the Lieutenant's death?
  • Answer:Page 4, “once I started getting involved with the death of the Lieutenant […]”

Deduction 10: What proves that the Lieutenant can regenerate further than fifteen minutes?
Hint: The main tell of the Lieutenant regenerating is the loss of memories. Are there any large gaps in those?
  • Answer: Bureau File, Extra Note 2 - "There’s one case of a year’s worth of memories disappearing"

Deduction 11: What item in the room could possibly be killing the Lieutenant? Point to it in the picture.
Hint:
  • How could something deadly be entered into the Lieutenant's body continuously and discreetly?
  • What’s the first thing the nurse talked about when we arrived?
  • Answer: The IV fluid

With that, the case will reach a conclusion and the ending will play out. At the credits, we will unlock Reborn
