Starting a quest and getting ability to cut blossoms

Mitsuki, The Golden Hibiscus, will give you a personal quest which you must complete as part of Rozu’s Requiem quest (gather 3 NPCs to rebuild the forest). Mitsuki will grant you a new ability to gather blossoms.
He is located near the first flower.

There is a total of 5 blossom in 4 biomes.

Midori Forest

The first blossom is located just above Mitsuki when you talk to him.


The second blossom can be found east of the enemy challenge room, among red-vine walls and numerous yellow spirit lanterns.

Megumi Mountain

The third blossom requires the Kabuto Wings ability and is located northwest of Moro, the giant hot spring monkey.

Uzumaki Cave and Forest of Crimson Bamboo

The fourth blossom is located in the room with a giant statue of a woman in the background and glowing candles. The blossom is hidden in the top left corner. You'll need to defeat a blue enemy spirit to reach it.


The last blossom is near the northwest entrance of the Uzumaki Cave. This blossom is on a ledge in an area you can climb after obtaining the Lotus Dash ability.

And that's all. All you have to do is return to Mitsuki. He is located near the first blossom and has his own mark on the map.
