Take damage, earn blood. Blood can be spent to do projectile moves, or to do the kill specials. It's up to you to be either wasteful of your blood and use it for quick bursts of strength, or to conserve blood and unleash powerful attacks.

When the blood meter is full and the special button is pressed, Black transforms into their original parasite form and spins in a full circle, dealing large damage and having great kill potential. Because of the circular path of the attack, it can be used to either spike enemies downward in the air or to fling them sideways into a blast zone. This move can only be performed when you are above one stock.
Black impostor's strongest move, can only be used as a very rare last resort. As a variant of the kill special, it also requires a full blood meter, however this move can ONLY be performed when at one stock. Black transforms into their finale parasite form, stunning everyone in their path and unleashing a massive slash. This move can be tricky to pull off, but it is not something you'd want to be caught in. This move can also be performed if you are using the Final Smash buddy.
This move costs 10% of your blood meter and has a hefty cooldown, it's not something that can be spammed. Black tosses a blue crewmate's body that bounces around deals decent damage. It's costly to use so dont misuse it.
This move also costs 10% of the blood meter and is easy to miss, but deals large damage. This move has Black invite their 'adopted' son Gray "Crewmate" to join the game and deal an attack with a knife. This move is very easy to dodge, so it's best used to catch your opponent off guard.
This move has Black hop into a vent placed below them, where they are able to freely move around underground. When they come out of the vent, it deals damage to any person above them. You can still be hit while underground, however when you get hit out of the vent, you don't take as much knockback. This move makes for a good edge guarding tool.
Green Impostor is dead... Is this why there is no Ejected stage???

The taunt charges the blood meter by a very small amount. Don't be toxic with it though, you need to taunt like 3-4 times to get one move in, it's really not worth it
For anyone who was wondering, the dodge roll is actually based off of the new Among Us Phantom role that just came out last month which allows impostors to turn invisible. They just happened to release a role in Among Us that acted as a dodge right when we needed a dodge. Yes, we're taking the creative liberty to make Black Impostor a phantom, no one's gonna stop us. Canon.

Black Impostor has two whole stages!
This stage takes place on a runway with the Henry Stickmin/Among us Toppat Clan airship in the background. This stage has a moving floor, which changes up the gameplay.

Yes, Black Impostor has a super form. This can be accessed by collecting all 7 chaos emeralds using the Chaos Emerald buddy. When Black goes super, they passively gain blood, a very dangerous combination.
Black Impostor is using negative chaos energy like Perfect Chaos instead of positive energy like normal super forms, so this form is basically "Perfect Black Impostor"


Already mentioned in the moves section, but Black's final special can be more easily accessed as a final smash through the Final Smash Buddy.

This was started before there were any Vs. Impostor specific characters in the workshop, and has been in dev for like a year due to it being a very new experience for us, and was not intended to replace anyone else.
There are many extremely obscure references that almost nobody will get, but you should try looking for them all!
We are very open to suggestions and we would very much appreciate any comments at all, but please keep fighter suggestions to a minimum. We are all tired from putting a lot of effort into this character. The most that we can say is that there MAY be a red/green impostor character coming to the workshop eventually, but I wouldn't bank on it.
Use the projectile moves as a compliment to your melee moves. Don't go spamming it from far distances like a zoner, that won't get you anywhere and will just annoy players, and if it does get you anywhere we will nerf it until spamming doesn't.
This is NOT an official collaboration with the Vs. Impostor team. The clip in the trailer was only meant to show the source material of the character.
