Steam:

  2. On the server selection menu, don't click on a server to play. Instead, find the “Support” button at the bottom and click on it. This will open the support page with most of your details already filled in.
  3. Your email address will be something like @steampowered.com. Replace this with your own email address.
  4. Fill in the description of your issue and add a note stating that you are a Steam user so that support is aware. Your account ID will be displayed in their systems when you create the ticket this way.
  5. If the support button in the launcher isn't accessible, go to the support link[www.drakensang.com], which will not provide your account ID. Provide them with your Instance and Character ID so they can help you properly.
Client:
  1. Open the Drakensang Online client
  2. Find the “Support” button at the bottom and click on it. This will open the support page with most of your details already filled in.

Error Code 23
Note: This error occurs when the server considers your last played character as still being online due to not logging out properly, or because there is a currently running game process. It may also happen if someone else tries to log in to your account with a different character.

Solution:
  1. Close the game, double-check Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC) for any running DSO processes, and close them manually.
  2. Enter the game and log in with the character you last played (ensure you're on the correct server).
  3. After successfully logging in, log out normally.
  4. You should now be able to log in with any character from your account.
  5. Non-Steam users only: If you open the client, and it tells you to "Play Now" instantly, log out, enter your username and password, and try again.
Sometimes waiting for approximately 30 minutes can resolve the issue if it’s a temporary server problem. If the above steps do not resolve the issue after waiting a certain amount of time or until the next server restart, you can open a support ticket.
