Begone Censorship!

Get rid of that spam in a canned coochie, pixel art out of my sight! That right this guide help you get the uncensored version. No download needed or DLC. Just simple file editing!

Step 1: Disable that "hidden extensions for file types"

(On your desktop computer locate your window explorer on the button left corner of your screen or pressing the windows key. 🪟)

(Look for the control panel or find it in the search bar)



(Inside the control panel home screen. Click "Appearance and Personalization")



(Next click on "File Explorer Option")



(There should be a little pop-up box. I want you to click on "view" at the top and scroll around until you find that "hidden extensions for file types" uncheck that box!)



(Once you uncheck the box click "Apply" and "Ok". You are free close out that control panel tab and you are onto the next and final step.)

Step 2: Adding the none.bat to the XML file to remove the censorship!

(Now open up steam, click on library, look for the "Mad Island" game on your library lists. Right click on it, click on manage, browse local file.)



(You should get a Mad Island game folder. Inside that folder is a "Mad Island Data" folder. Click on it!)



(Then click "Streaming assets")



(Click on the "XML" file)



(Now that you are inside the XML folder I want you to right click any where inside the folder and create "New text document" It depends on your computer. My computer requires me to click "New" and then "text document" in this document I want you to rename it as "none.bat" and force save it. Once that is over refresh the XML page file.)

Step 3: Kick back and boot up the game

There is already a none.bat file? (a windows file) do i delete that one?

so if i name it none.bat it say it already excist...

To prevent the file from becoming none.bat.txt I opened it up in note++ and then saved as, and changed the file type to .bat. Worked for me.
