Thanks for looking into it. You're probably right that I just never noticed it without the mod.

I could try to work around this by making the reroll effect run for everyone except the player character, but then I fear I might introduce the opposite problem -- i.e. non-custom player characters might then not be affected by the game rule, and thereby might be mostly heterosexual. I'll look into it, in any case. In the mean time, I would suggest a workaround: use the console precisely once at the start of the game to set the sexuality of the player character, and then disable it. (`set_sexuality gay <id>`).

@Glitterhoof Actually, scratch that--I'm fairly sure I know what's causing the issue, and it's definitely not my mod; in fact, this even happens in vanilla if you pick a custom sexuality distribution gamerule, and you can test that. If you do so, `game_rule_sexuality_distribution_reroll_effect` will run on the player character, and it will ignore the custom sexuality. (I suspect this bug has been obscured by the tendency for players to pick the same orientation for their character as for the game rule, which would make its manifestation usually unnoticeable, but make a, say, ace custom character and launch with, say, bisexuality dominant as a game rule, and chances are they will be bi.)

@Glitterhoof Can you give me more information? What religion is the custom character? Are you using any other mods? I'd like to try to reproduce this issue.

I know there's no code in this mod to directly cause this, but when it's enabled my custom gay character becomes hetero on game start. I wonder if it's because you're modifying the vanilla sexuality distribution game rule
