Intro

As someone who has been accused of cheating before i decided to make a quiz that you can do to find out if you (or a friend) is cheating without properly realising.
a bit of this was made for jokes but the rest was also made for being serious because not may people properly realise what is considered cheating
also why im using "cheating" rather than "hacking" is because hacking is manipulating the game code where as mods are adding to the code, yes they are kind of the same thing but hacking is more targeted towards ruining the game where as cheating can maybe even make the game more fun!

The amount of questions that had the wrong form of "your" pissed me off. Anyways, hud mods are not cheat mods. Not all hud mods are even info huds; like PDTH hud, Hotline Miami hud, and BL2 hud are all purely aesthetic. Now info hud mods on the otherhand still aren't cheating; 90% of the playerbase isn't even good enough to utilize an info hud. Plus, Overkill's list of approved mods list from like 20 million B.C mentions Hoxhud, which had all the features modern info huds have too. So... stop calling hud mods cheats, you'll just sound retarded.

hud mods give a very minor advantage that the average player wouldn't even know how to use, and these advantages can be given to a player without mods very easily if they already know how to use that advantage.

well, if you can't really make use of the hudmod's information it literally just blocks the vision. also, I see cheats as a mod that replaces skill, having a hud mod does not replace skill at all. you don't take a good player, remove their hudmod, and suddenly they are way worse, additionally, back when overkill had the mod approval system, they approved the mod HoxHUD which had timers, damage numbers, and pretty much everything that they have today. also why would any sane person still play on the console edition today lmao

yes, they give info that someone could not have with out them, a way i like to think of it is that if a console player was to speedrun against a pc player with hud mods, the pc player would have a major advantage
