Quick Guide on how dealers work

Introduction

Since there have been several threads being crated by people who dont understand how the dealers system works in the game, I decided to create this short and quick guide to explain how the system works.

How do the dealers work?

1. You need a hideout with a dealers locker to be able to assign one to an area.



2. You should also find a spot with a shoe tied from a light pole to assign them to a physical area as well, to get a boost in selling speed.


3. If you want them to sell drugs fast, assign up to 6 customers to each of them, as this is the max amount of clients they can service without a negative sale speed penalty.

4. On the first island you can only have one dealer, so give him the 8 clients of that region and suck up the slower sell rate, which isnt that impactful anyway.


5. After you "deploy" your dealers in an area and assign customers to them you have to provide them with drugs to sell. You do that by leaving drugs in dead drops around their specified island. It doesnt matter if you leave for them 150 bags of 1g or 1kg packs, they "repack" the drugs and sell them based on their demand. Each delivery takes a few minutes to be picked up by your dealers.


6. Each dealer will sell the drugs you have given them OVER TIME and will SLOWLY generate cash that you can pick up from them in person, or ask them to deliver it to your local hideout if it has a safe.


7. Dealers sell drugs only during the day.

8. Each area has different prices for each drug.

9. When you provide any amount of drugs to the "regional bosses", the npcs' whose permission you need to begin selling drugs in their territory (Llanzo, Pedro, Kira etc), these drugs become available to all the customers in that region and customers will begin buying these products.




9. The dealer needs to have stock of all the drugs you have unlocked in an area, otherwise he will complain of not having enough drugs.




As you can see above, Rueben here has enough ganja, but is lacking speed. Once you supply him with the amphetamines, he will stop complaining about lack of resources.

This is a basic overview of how the first level of your drug pushing empire will begin.

The next level is adding distributors, once you unlock them during the story missions in Slav's Bay.

Just follow the main quest.
From the main story quest with Kira.
After you talk to her at her night club you will get the call from Marcus.

@Madner He has 81 grams, you gave him 81 more, he prolly sold 1 gram = 161 grams. He most likely needs amph or other drugs too.

I'm unable to deploy any dealers in Bahia. I have 2 dealers assigned lockers, but they don't show up as options at a dealer spot or in a stash drop.

The small island's - dealer's cabinet comes with the main story quest after Marcus calls you.
It is located beside the DIY table near the Weed-Growing Box.
Just do every quest, both main and green-letter quests, and you should be fine.

where do u buy and place the dealers cabinet on the small island? wont let me do either. tried to place ruben on small island but as i cant place a dealers cabinet in the bunker how do u place him?

@Rayxner u have to build dealer's cabinet in your hideout and then select dealer.

You forgot to explain 1 detail.. How and where to GET a dealer??

@Max. If you have assigned the customer to your dealer, you should not receive messages from them anymore. Only unassigned customer will contact you, and yes you have to make the sale on your own then.
