How to avoid DLC SPOILERS on Youtube

You know before you're even able to preload the game some chump is going to upload a video on YT with a title akin to "ELDEN RING DLC FINAL BOSS FIGHT FULL" with a thumbnail that you won't be able to unsee once you've been spoiled and bamboozled.

Save yourself from this. Play the DLC at your own pace. Formulate your own lore. Don't let yourself be spoiled.

Search for YTBlock on your browser and add it.

Head over to 'Videos' [Check screenshot below] and under 'Block videos that title include' option enter all terms likely to spoil you. This will block all videos that include the mentioned terms.

For example: Shadow of the Erdtree, Messmer, Miquella, etc. I've written a lot of relevant tags you can find below. You can copy and paste them. Be as thorough as possible. You don't want to ruin your day just by harmlessly opening your Youtube feed.

Below this there's also an option to block certain channels - Block videos from these channels (name or link). Go ahead and block any channels as well that are sure to spoil you. Certain streamers surely will. I'm blocking Vaati until I've finished the DLC.

As for mobile apps, I'd just recommend blocking all notifications as this guide is not applicable for mobile. Blocking notifications may seem extreme, but damn it'll piss me off if I wake up, check my phone and there's 7 notifications detailing the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss and area roster for the DLC.
