Client for Geometry Dash modifications has already been updated for version 2.206!

and the client version for modifications is now 3.0.0.

Steps and screenshots prescribed in the manual, the author performed on the Windows operating system.

Uninstalling an outdated version of Geode

First, make sure you don't have any other mods installed, third-party from Geode.

Also uninstall the previous version of Geode, which was for version 2.205.

Do:

1. Open the folder with the location of the game.
   You can open this directory by specifying the path manually in Explorer or using the Steam client by clicking on the game in your library "Browse Local Files".
   
   
2. In this folder there should be an executable file "GeodeUninstaller.exe", which will automatically remove Geode in the game resources. In case of absence - delete all files and directories extraneous from the game resources.
   You can also completely delete the folder with the game and install the game again for a "clean" installation.
   
   
3. Follow the steps in the program to uninstall the Geode client for uninstallation.
   

After uninstalling the client, some folders from Geode will remain, as well as a zip-archive that the uninstall program created, which stores data/settings about the mods and the client itself for future installation and use.

Recommended to delete all files in their respective directories:

 ...\geode\mods
...\geode\unzipped

as they still contain mods that were previously installed for version 2.205. These mods will not load in the new Geode 3.0.0 client and compatibility problems may occur.

Installing new version of Geode

Installing Geode 3.0.0 for Geometry Dash 2.206

The installation is done from the official website of the product: https://geode-sdk.org

What's need to do:

1. Go to website[geode-sdk.org].
   
   
   
2. Click to Download button.
   
   
3. Follow the instructions for installation.

You have installed the installer for the new Geode 3.0.0. Now install the Geode client itself using this installer.

• Open the installer and follow the steps to install.
  

Windows Defender may block the installer program from running due to distrust. Solve this problem yourself or consult the Internet for a solution.

Using Geode 3.0.0

After installing the Geode client, start the game. Geode menu in the game now looks new more beautiful and clear!



Install mods in the Download and/or Recent tab (not all mods are in Download). After installing (as well as uninstalling) you need to restart the game.

Afterwords

Remember that Geode 3.0.0.0 is in BETA release and may not work properly on your device!
