Achievements

Estranged in the Dark

This one is quite simple,but can also be hard at certain stages. I recommend turning up your computer or the game's brightness to get you through some stages that are quite dark. Avoid picking up batteries and flashlights and make quick saves just incase you picked up one by accident.

Water collector

During your stay at John's house,there should be a bucket that has been painted on the shelf. Grab it and carry it with you through out the whole entire game until you reach the end. I would again reccomend making quick saves just in case you dropped it or lost it.

Power Conserver

After you have crossed the wooden log to get across the stream,there is a nature reserve there. All you have to do is go inside and find the lamp,and press E on it to turn it off.

Vendaholic

After you have turned off the light in the nature reserve,there will be a vending macine there. Go to it and click E on it until it stops dispencing soda cans. There are 5 of them in the entire game.

Houdini

This achievement is very simple. When you get to the part where you are tied up in a chair,all you have to do is wait there and do not struggle.

Evening News

This achievement can be frustrating to get to. When you come across a room looking like this:


Stack up some boxes so you can get to that platform above you. Once you have succesfully made it up,open the door to your left and you will come across a room looking like this:



Now all you have to do is unplug the T.V

Marksman

This achievement requires you to score 15 points on the firing range,just outside of where you met the scientist.

Catlover

When you are on the 3rd floor,there should be an office floor with flashing red lights and zombies. Kill all the zombies and search for a computer that is accessable. Once you are on the computer,there should be files of cat pictures and on the bottom a video. Click it to get the achievment.

Shipwrecked

Finish Estranged: Act I. You'll get this achievment by default when you have completed the game.

Hey! Arne't u a mac user! I hope so.. (screen-o-matic) but You can Have the game setting tonot fulscreen in the video settings.
Go to Settings>Video settings>Set ur resoultion so that its not fullscreen and you should be able to record.
