HMS Inflexible 1876

HMS Inflexible was built in response to the Italian navy, which had been growing in size recently. Italy was building the Duilio class battleships, which fitted the 100 ton gun, a 17.7 inch weapon, and was a more powerful system than anything fitted to Royal Navy ships in the Mediterranean. Inflexibe was designed to remain afloat even if her unarmoured sections were completely flooded. She was designed with a ram, and a turret layout that allowed for better end-on fire than traditional layouts. She was also the first Royal Navy ship to fit electrical systems. She was one of the last Royal Navy ships fitted with a sailing rig, and had it removed a decade after commissioning. She served in the bombardment of Alexandria during the Urabi Revolt under then captain John "Jacky" Fischer. She fired 88 shells and took 2 hits. As mentioned before, she recieved modernizations close to a decade after commissioning and went into reserve shortly there after. She would later be scrapped as obsolete during Fischers time as Admiral of the Fleet.

Anywho, hope you guys enjoy the turret ironclad. Despite its odd layout, It should be able to fight the DWG and some OW ships in a campaign if you wish to use it that way (I will be doing that).
