Shield of Light still works fine, though I'm trying to get Tome of Tadashi (I think I only have 5 Fortunes left to farm, according to Wiki at least) to see what defensive options it adds, in case the Shield eventually becomes too weak or at least just to deal with the very rare instances I still die. That happened maybe 2 or 3 times before I realized Rangers could use Dispelling Shot, happened once against Tlaloc the Storm at level 300+ when I joined someone else's game. I think we were perhaps fighting enemies that were meant for a party of 6 characters (he was playing solo with 6 characters controlled by him, before I joined) but we were only using 1 each, Tlaloc has Critical and he had a 100% damage modifier, so that may explain our 1 tap deaths in that situation.

Been playing on Heart of the Realm. I'm currently at Level 700+ solo. Got a couple of Tier III Excaliburs. For anyone who doesn't know (Wiki says it's Global Loot, so I was dreading having to grind quite a bit for them), just do the Sword in the Stone Event when you can get Tier III items, I did it at Level 160.

PART 3

I've noticed I have to watch out for the Dispelling Shot, because it can remove my Shield of Light at random. After I realized how dangerous that potentially was, I started watching for Rangers/ Archers and killing them right away. Otherwise, though, my shield seems pretty much invincible, so not much use for Vitality/Health (outside of the small amounts it takes to cast). If Shield of Light really remains this strong for survival, I don't think I'll need to move on to what seems like some of the more popular things that make me temporarily invincible.

Frankly, I'm pretty sure I'm still just on Casual though, even if Endless 160. If I can eventually find a couple of Tier III Excaliburs, maybe I'll try my hand at higher difficulties and levels on Endless, see how I do. I figure, if nothing else, maybe others will wanna try out some of these things themselves. Perhaps tweak it more to their liking, to be more optimal or whatever else.

PART 2

I have 13 points in Monk & 19 in Light. I can try to get all of the specifics if anyone is curious, but I do have Regenerate, Blinding Light, Holy Field, Bless, Shield of Light, Purify, Seal of Might & Seal of Salvation.

I'm using Tier III Arcane Robes, Tier III Arcane Veil, Tier III Ring of Power and a Tier II Valler's Pocket Watch. I have the Light cooldown skill (whatever that was) and Valler's Pocket Watch gives me -1 to all cooldowns. It's pretty fun being able to refresh Shield of Light every turn, plus cast literally everything else I have every turn. I currently use Dexterous/Violent for my Prefixes and Savior/whatever the heck the crit damage and healing is for my Suffixes, but if I ever find Tier III Excaliburs that can probably change.

PART 1

I'm playing with a similar build at the moment, though I've only tried up to Level 160. Putting this here in case other people wanna play around with it.

I use 2 Excaliburs instead of 1 (so I use Might of the Ymir; also, I REALLY need Tier III Excaliburs, working with not even Tier I currently, but this guide shows me Tier III does indeed exist). I used to use True King, but now I just use Edwin's Enchantment instead. It gives 50% increase spell power and spell cost, BUT the cost is paid in health instead of mana (which I heal with all of the heals I'm throwing out). I'm trying to get the Wrath of the Righteous Fortune so I can free up 3 Skill Points (which I may use for Glory, Light's Beckon and Mass Cure or something). I currently just use Ivory Dragon Scale, though, which is pretty fun.
