Gensokyo Odyssey Achievements Guide + Tips and Tricks and ♥♥♥♥

FULLY FINISHED
Should be current as of the newest update, nobody in the player-base has made an achievements guide for this yet (except me :3). There are a fair few missable achievements in this game, so I will cover those, as well as give demonstrations for all of the minigames and how to win for all of them, and a guide to unlock the secret boss and plenty of screenshots to go with everything. I'm gonna split it all up between story achievements you naturally get and all of the missable achievement's, in chronological order, assuming i dont ♥♥♥♥ it up.
there is a folder of save files into a google drive for everybody to access. These save files will be right before any missable content and achievements, so if you already beat the game and are too lazy, you can just plug it into your local game files and skip ahead to where you need to go. You just have to rename and remove the additional little text blurbs i put to indicate what save flies do what, then plug-in and replace your current save file. If they dont work, please let me know, and for the love of christ, back up YOUR OWN SAVES before doing this. I don't want complaining from anybody. I am not gonna link it directly in the guide because steam really does not like external links to google drives and it takes forever for the guide to update because of it, so I am going to link the drive in the comments of a youtube video I will link to here.

Story Achivements + Guides

you gotta switch to arrow keys for this. just press left and right and catch the stuff to make macaroni so you can slap her for damage
she shoots bullets during the hockey phase, so yknow, watch out for that i guess. she's so easy i dont really need to guide you for this

i couldn't get a screenshot of the actual minigame in action cause i beat it before screenshotting but basically a fishing line that goes up and down depending on your mouse movement is gonna appear. Avoid the jellyfish and touch the funny fish to beat the minigame
also im starting to notice but did everybodies health get nerfed? i swear fights were longer before or im trippin
the most bone-chilling achievement in the game
we fight the hottest touhou character in canon because i love BBWs.
you are gonna have to switch to your keyboard for this. press the keys that come up in the quicktime events to stop her from eating fruit. If a bomb comes on screen, dont do anything and let her eat it.
shes very cute when she eats fruit though so maybe just let her have it

for her minigame, just click on the bats to kill them
however, i did this minigame like 4 times for this fight and i swear to god i did not win once their hitboxes are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or something lmao
this minigame is a crane game, get the fumo lol
its SUPER buggy in fact most of the newly added minigames are. If you press too many buttons on the minigame for the crane game, it start the next damn round. In fact, i CANT play the crane game, the arrow keys dont work only the space bar does. NOT THAT IT EVEN MATTER LMAO, because for this fight, it just does damage the moment you press the special button, not when you win or fail the minigame. The minigame as a result is just a waste of 5 seconds until it gets fixed.
there is nothing special about this screenshot this is just the point in the game where the best song ever plays, anyways
she has a simple minigame, do math. you have to purposefully answer the wrong way though

utsuho does not play nice in this fight but shes still easier than her previous fight honestly

Steps to the Secret Boss (spoiler free :3)

Getting the secret boss when the game first came out was so obtuse, I was off a bunch of ambien and in my rage induced ambien imbalance i emailed the dev very angrily with bad grammer and spelling about my complaints and the grammer was so bad i genuinely cannot read the email coherently as of present. But now from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and moaning from people such as myself, Mr kronington made it much easier to get the secret boss lol. In the new update, he even added some new hints baby. SO PAY ATTENTION.

from there just keep on progressing yeah yeah yeah after the fight with the monk lady and getting inside of the cave with decap reimus and leaving the cave, if you did as i told you, you will see this
just unlock the gate to the secret boss. obviously, as a secret boss this is the hardest boss in the game lol. I really got no tips for you buddy, my only tip is in the final phase of the boss where things start going topsy turvy, you need to lock the ♥♥♥♥ in, because the effect will only keep going worse and worse, i dont even know when it stops going faster.

the minigame you need to do is rip off its limbs, click the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing as fast as possible
also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ some of the minigame music is so cool, i gotta decompile the game to find all the sound assets and upload the minigame variants of the battle themes onto youtube cause most of it is not listed on the spotify

Missable Achievements

when you reach the scarlet mansion, you are gonna see this text box pop up, and in the corner is the choice of both

you will actually get another chance to say yes to a different coupon, so yknow please say yes. you arent gonna get any brownie points for being good

when she ask you to become her apprentice after the kakkoi fight, say yes. dont worry this does not stop the story
when this hag comes to bother you in the cafe, just tell her to go away so you can go to jail in peace (say stay)
Ms. Skittle during her dialouge is gonna give you this password so you better remember it
it MIGHT be in your best interest to quit out and refresh after using the password so you can do the secret boss
Achieve the 777 jackpot outcome by matching 3 Kakkoi faces for her minigame in the space shuttle flight. This takes a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of luck/skill and I had to reload the fight a couple of times but it's not that bad it only took like 10 minutes.
make the obvious bad decision and dont fire the laser you clod.
i did this when the game first came out and lowkey it was pissing me off so i installed cheat engine and figured out how to find the money value the game uses and modified it to get the achievements. since then, kronington has made the blackjack much easier to do and it favors the player, and there's lots of new exclusive dialogue added during this patch. if you are just an impatient jerkoff like me, i think there is a notepad file you can modify the money value for in the save folder of your game, i noticed there is a whole different save file for the blackjack that records how much money you have. im too lazy to try it myself lol
WELP THATS IT, with this new guide, the old guide is completely outdated and im gonna delete that one, i hope everybody enjoys this new one, thank you mr kronington for making the game.
