Download Universal Unreal Engine Unlocker
Search for Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker in whatever browser and search engine you like. (For other games that use a different version of UE, just replace the 4 with whatever the respective version is)

After you install it, run the game and the .exe from the UUEU download (read the readme for more info, it recommends running both as admin but I didn't have to) and then in the UUEU window click "select" for the top box and select the game you are running then just click "insert" then you will see some boxes of info pop up in the top left of your screen and you are done!

You will need to do that selection and insert process for each game you plan to do this with.

Now in game, you click the `/~ key (that is the one that has ~ and usually also ` on the same key, left of the 1/! key, above the Tab key, and under the escape key)

After pressing that key you type FOV followed by whatever number you want. Experiment. For example I have a 32:9 monitor and put FOV 130. If I thought that was too much or later the game decided to zoom it out on its own, I would click ~ at any time I please and type FOV 120 or FOV 110 etc.

It seems like you have to do this every time you launch the game but maybe not (I never did it in admin mode so that may be why i have to do it every time)

~ then fov #
