There is a glitch in the 8. Laser Beams Puzzle where you can get it to complete without using the solution above. If you skip the 2 nodes above the starting point of the laser (diamond) and get all the others nodes first you can deflect the laser with the last mirror up to the 2 nodes causing it to complete even though deflecting it in reality would cause only the 2 nodes to be active and break the laser to the other nodes. It doesn't break the existing laser beam first so it sees it as being complete.
