If anyone completed the quest w/o handing over the rainbow bra, you should be able to save and quit (yes, after the mistake) and the quest will be at the beginning state again, as they do not seem to save the quest in a different state if you just return the normal bra.

Thank for the reply guys, it turns that I need the rainbow sea shell swimsuit which I did not notice is available to craft nor any hints that I need that until I search online. I think the game needs to give the user some clues instead of wondering around lost most of time lol!

You'll need a "rainbow sea shell swimsuit".
Having it in your inventory gives you new dialogue options.

might be a bug normally after 'Tuna time' with mermaid she became clickable/ follower and such

i do not think she is usable on land still as a follower anyways so in previous versions she could move on land so the event being redouble might be less a bug and more of a feature atm wink wink'
'but yeh that sounds like a bug unfortunately after the boob job event she becomes clickable and able to follow or move around 'in water' on land its awkward she would get stuck in prev versions and just teleport with you after certain distances , u could also craft water blocks in areas though she would just slide out anyways and get stuck hopefully there is changes to her in future like water movement summoning effect 'shrugs i wouldn't worry to much about her as follower.

For some reason, I did the intercourse with the murmaid and the quest board did not show its complete and seems that the event is still there?? Did I do something wrong

yeah she starts on the rocks below this area on screenshot and when she spots player getting close she dives and then the event can progress to next parts
