How to kill moon Lord as a melee character!! (real)

So i see you struggle with killing moonlord, you have a serious case of skill issue and need help. I am here

Weapons And armour.

Alright to start off we need to lay the basic weapons and armour.
So the weapon you will most likely use is the Daybreak crafted from solar fragments from the solar pillar. Tip: Do not fly during the solar pillar as the big worm will eat you up.
Armour wise you will want beetle armour granting Lots of defense and damage reduction.
To craft the beetle armour you will first need turtle armour crafted with 3 turtle shells and 54 chlorophite bars obtained post mech in the jungle. Once all has been obtained you will then need 18 beetle husks from Easy Golem then craft at a mythril or orichalacum anvil.
Once this has all been obtained your set for the first part but you still need accesories...

Acessories!

The first accesory most may have at this point is the Terraspark boots, but if you dont, then look at the video

at the left for the full crafting tree! The next useful accesory you will want is the Ankh Shield which has another complex crafting tree. yay... But to make it in short you need these items from these enemies.
Blindfold from crimson or corruption enemies in hardmode. Pocket mirror from the medusa.
Vitamins from corruptor or floaty gross. Armour polish from blue armoured bones or armoured skeleton. Bezoar from hornets. Medicated bandage from rusty armoured bones, angler fish, or werewolf. Nazar from cursed skulls, corruption crimson or hallow sword, axe or hammer. Megaphone from the pixie, light or blood mummy, green jellyfish. Trifold map from giant bat, clown, light mummy.
Fast clock from pixie, wraith or mummy. Now all of these combind make the ankh charm, but if you want the ankh shield you need 20 obsidian into a skull then combine it into the ankh shield. Fishron and betsy wings are the best wings paired with the soaring insignia. The Celesestial shell is a more simple but useful one to make too. It requires a moon charm from werewolves, neptunes shell from Creature In the deep, sun stone from golem and moon stone for vampires to make. Charm of myths is Very useful with a band of regen from gold chests and a philosophers stone from mimics. Brain of confusion is very good even late game if you have any useless accesorries.Master ninja gear can also be very useful to replace brain of confusion and have good dash. The tabi and black belt are from the Bone Lee and the climber claws from wooden chests. EMblems are still good. And thats it!!!

Rod of discord is useful for big moon beam.
