How to run the game with Vulkan on Windows [VKD3D]

This is a guide on how to run TEKKEN 8 with VKD3D on WIndows. Potentially fixing the LowLevelFatalError issues on AMD Graphics cards

Why?
Because I am in the unfortunate position of owning an AMD GPU (Radeon RX 6800) I kept getting LowLevelFatalError crashes on Windows but never had that problem while trying to run that game on Linux. I set up TEKKEN 8 with VKD3D on Windows and after 40 hours I haven't had any LowLevelFatalError crashes.
Things to download
Download the latest version of VKD3D and DXVK
VKD3D - https://github.com/HansKristian-Work/vkd3d-proton/releases/latest
DXVK - https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/latest

Scroll down to Assets and download the .tar archives. If you aren't on Windows 11, use 7zip to open these archives.
Where to place the files?
Right click Tekken 8 on Steam then hover over manage and press browse local files.

Navigate to this directory

Open the DXVK and VKD3D archives and place the highlighted files into the Tekken 8 directory you just navigated to

Open up Notepad and copy this line

dxgi.customVendorId=ffff

Save the file as dxvk.conf in the Tekken 8 directory we previously navigated to, make sure the "Save as type" is set to All Files. If you are getting a "Fatal error!" notification opening the game THEN YOU DIDN'T DO THIS STEP CORRECT.
Finished, things to note. [PLEASE READ]
You will get worse performance than running this game with native DirectX 12, so make sure to turn down the settings.

I am not sure if this will be the case for everyone but any Upscaling option that isn't TAAU or FSR 1.0 would force my GPU to be maxed out not letting me play the game at 60fps, changing it to TAAU at 80% render resolution gave me a lot less problems.

You will have quite a bit of stutters until the shaders compile for Vulkan so don't immediately hop into rank, play a few quick matches or jump in the practice mode... AND you still may have a few hitches here or there so it's up to you if you want to have the occasional stutter or have a chance for your game to crash.

This will probably run terribly on GTX 10 series cards.

This is just a potential solution to stop the LowLevelFatalError from happening, not a solution to make your game run better.

Read the last section lol... it states this is going to give you less performance.

Does this lower or up the FPS?

Also do you have mods installed?

Was it on Fallen Destiny or Into the Stratosphere? Those were the stages I was crashing on mainly, but with this I have not crashed in 40 hours. So not sure, a screenshot of the specific error would also help

I remember downgrading the drivers because i thought they are the problem lol

Updating drivers is a great idea. The game works now. I will give you a update after playing for a bit. But it looks like it will work just fine.

Tried to replicate this by setting my game to Windowed and it still loads up fine sorry don't know. I am on Windows 11 and have the latest Radeon drivers, what about you?
