Description
Updated 2016-01-20. Two staves to take the stress out of hoarding alchemical and smithing supplies. Why Accio? Harry Potter, of course - remember the spell he used to fetch his broom? And that is what you can do with these staves - fetch your alchemical and smithing supplies from remote storage, and then send them back to storage again.

This mod requires SKSE - available for download @ http://skse.silverlock.org

Somewhere in Tamriel there is a chest - the 'Accio Supply Chest'. You may put anything you like in it, but the point of this mod is for you to use the chest to hoard all the alchemical, smithing, and culinary ingredients you like.

Once your inventory weighs close to your maximum carry capacity (within 15) the quest to deliver your Accio Staves is launched. A courier will track you down and give you a spell tome: 'Trade with Accio Supply Chest'.

Learn this spell - it is a Lesser Power - and then use it to open the Accio Supply Chest. Inside the chest you will find the two Staves. Grab them both, as well as the helpful help manual.

As you move forward keep in mind that you can use this Lesser Power 'Trade With Accio Supply Chest' anytime, should you wish to trade with the chest directly.

However, the point of the staves is to make trading directly with the chest a rare neccessity.

Equip an Accio staff and the contents of the 'Accio Supply Chest' that are related to that staff will be transferred to your inventory. Equip the Alchemical staff, for instance, and all alchemical ingredients stored in the 'Accio Supply Chest' will be transferred to you. Likewise for the Smithing staff.

There is a maximum limit to how many of one kind of object will be transferred from the chest to you. The default is 12, but that can be changed. Read the quick start guide for more information on that.

Once finished smithing or brewing potions or cooking gourmet meals, just unequip the staves to return the remaining inventory to storage. It bears mentioning that in the event that you acqure more loot than you can carry and run you can just equip the staves - wait for them to work - then unequip them again. Problem solved.

There is code built in to accommodate the 'fetch' quests. For example, say you have agreed to fetch 20 nirnroot for someone. Then a maximum of 20 nirnroot will always be left in your inventory. Anything in excess of that will be transferred to the 'Accio Supply Chest'. For more details on this please read quick start.

Obviously, it is impossible for this mod to know about every object that might be an alchemical or smithing supply. DLC will no doubt extend the vanilla lists.

That is where FIRING the staff comes in. Doing so opens a Gift Menu between you and an 'Extended Chest'. Both staves have their own dedicated 'Extended Chest'.

Inside these chests you will find one example of every object vanilla Skyrim considers to be an alchemical or smithing ingredient. Just place in the Extended Chest one of any object you wish to also be included in that list. Then instances of that object will be part of the transfer operations for that staff.

Please take note - the staves behave like atronach staves. Fire the staff at the ground relatively nearby. If firing the staff fails to open the gift menu keep trying. Try aiming a little closer to yourself, or further away. Once you get it right firing the staff will open a gift menu.

I hope you enjoy the Accio Staves! Any problems or bugs please let me know. I will fix or improve this mod as necessary. Meanwhile, you might consider checking out my other mods. They are just as awesome as this one! ;)

And Please - give a dog a bone and thumb this mod. Favorite is nice, too :)
