The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - PlayStation button icons Mod

Are you playing with DualShock controller and being sick of Xbox A, B, X, Y buttons UI? Want to see oldscool triangle, square, X and O icons? If yes, than this tutorial is made for You! It will guide you step-by-step for how to do it. It's very simple and anyone can do it.

Changing game icons

The original game icons are saved as PNG files and located at "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter\Binaries\Game" folder. You can replace them simply by following these steps:

1. Right Click on image at the bottom of this post...
   
2. Select "Save image as..."
   
3. Go to your game installation directory (witch default is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Vanishing of Ethan Carter\")
   
4. Then to "\Binaries\Game\"
   
5. Select corresponding symbol file (according to table below)
   
6. Click "Save"
   
7. Repeat for each symbol

Your progress should automaticly save when you reach specific areas, like the elevator behind Alchemists house. Have in mind that I'm not from the game support, you should write to them.
