How to get Anteverse Gel

It does seem finding Anteverse Gel is most confusing part of the playthrough for a lot of players so far. This guide will help you finding this material.

1. This guide does not contain spoiler tags, please proceed with caution.
   
2. This guide assumes you have reached Labs, found Containment Blocks and explored Adjustment Wing.
   
3. This guide does not cover every single step on the process, as there are way too many of those. I'd advise you to explore on your own, and only use this guide only when you've stuck, so it is up to you to explore accessed areas, open shortcuts, craft required items etc.
   
4. I've made screenshots from my save file, so some of them are shown already after objective was cleared. However, there are no dramatic changes, so everything should still be recognizable.

Short summary

1. To farm Anteverse gel, you need to access Far Garden (Mycofields) portal world
   
2. To activate the portal to Far Garden, you need a specific item from specific enemy type.
   
3. To reach aforementioned enemy type, you need to deactivate turrets to access the area where this enemy is.
   
4. To deactivate turrets, you need to reach the control center.

Reaching control center

To start, you need to locate the place with "Helmholtz control" text on the wall. If you haven't found it, start at the Containment Blocks - there will be an opened cell with a lot of yellow paint around

After exploring it a bit, you should find Helmholtz control, but your way forward will be blocked by turrets, and you will be gunned down if you cross "Live fire zone" sign.

Now, you need to get across without getting killed. There are few ways to do that, but one of the easiest and safest ones is just to build a bridge across.

Explore further area until you find this portal. You need to beat this portal world to proceed. The only advise I would give you - bring flashlight. Maybe two. Good luck.

Disabling turrets

Beating the portal will eventually bring you to the area with XRay gate (yellow glowing field). You need to farm 4 Leyak essences to get through. In case you don't know how to farm essences, build XRay turret or XRay lamp and use it on Leyak - red tentacly monster that periodically follows you and does sigh-like noises.

Proceed past the gate. Be cautious that there are turrets that will shoot you if they spot you, but the location is designed in the way that you can avoid turrets line of sight. Look for the doors called "Control lift".

Then, it will be rather linear path until you find hackable panel that allows you to change the turrets settings (their lights will become blue), and freely get through other areas that are marked "Live fire zone".

Getting Tarasque ichor

Backtrack to "Helmholtz Control" area. Now that turrets no longer shoot at you, you can go past "Live fire zone" here. There, you will find "Containment Block ANNING".

Explore the area until you find Tarasque (large blue monster), and kill it. Good luck.

Dismember its body to get ichor.

Entering Mushroom hell

Now with ichor at hand, you can actually access the location where you get Anteverse Gel. Get back to the large elevator, go to the highest floor, and go to the area where you see mushrooms (hard to miss)

Use ichor on the device in the pit - this will activate the portal.

In the portal world, you can find those stones and loot Anteverse Gel

Usually portal worlds reset is announced in the facility. Can you play until next reset is announced and try it then? I have definitely visited this portal world more than once and it was reset.

I went into anteverse II B, but I accidentally made grenades instead of the key-item. Most portal worlds reset at midnight, but it has been two in-game days and the portal didn't reset. Now I'm stuck with 8 gels, which is 2 gels short of the theramite bomb. What can I do or have I soft-locked myself?

@Salty Milkshake I have mentioned in the guide that there are few ways to get across, but falling in the pit is rather bad way to die in this game, which is why I've specified that I consider bridge the safest way to get across.
