when you wan to build a base you shold consider 3 things 1 where you build a base best places to buld are forest and beact an worst palces to built are under ground and jungle especially in hard mode 2 what kind of base you are buldin a npc house,minibase,storage,classic or a classy base just for fleksing whit rare items or boss trophys 3 is it for you only or for whole gang (if you play multi player) and if you play whit multiple pals DONT STORE ANY THING SUPER RARE like rod of discord or strong like zeneth so your "frends" cant steal anything if you need to store some thing rare then use piggy bank or safe cuz then no one can steal any of your stuff

now the tips you shold make fake foundation to make it not look flat use hammer to make "shmoot" roof try to make bulding stations look that they fit in like build a small blacksmith for furnace and anvil or use multiple crafting table to make it look like long table for diving room you can also make litle altar for acient manuplatior
