『ナイトメア大富豪』は、トランプゲームの「大富豪(大貧民)」のように、場に出されたカードより強いカードを出していき、最終的にいかに早く手札を無くす(出し切る)ことができるかを競うゲームですが、本作でしか味わえない場流しや、特殊カードを使った爽快なまとめ出しがこのゲームの肝です。

また「パス」をすることで、強制的に山札(6枚)の上から1枚カードが引けるため、それまで出せなかったカードが一度に出せるというロマンもあります。
