Welcome to my Soup guide!

If you are new to the game I have plenty of tips to making soup, however if you are here for the recipes I have a full list of the good soups ready to go

The Basics

The Five Steps to Soup


1:in order to create a soup you must have at your cooking skill at level 3, you can do this by cooking raw food or by picking a starting class with cooking EXP




2: In order to create a soup you must have a cooking pot which can be found or crafted, for crafting it takes staplers and metal









3.Next you must fill the cooking pot with clean water, there are several sources, the most common being the water coolers. Tainted water can also be scooped up in pots and boiled into clean water for proper use.


















4:Then upon putting the full pot of water on a stove or makeshift stove powered by electricity, you can add ingredients to your soup








5: Once your soup is done cooking, you can pick it up and place it down on a table or floor, to drink it you will need a soup bowl, which can be crafted with, metal, staplers, glass shards and a test tube

These recipes below give the buff Souper Satisfied which reduced hunger and thirst drain


Most good soups in the game have this effect, very good for keeping yourself alive.

Sausage & Potato Stew: Peccary sausage, Potato

Mashed Potatoes: Potato, Milk sac, Salt

No Effect: These soup recipes below will refill your thirst and hunger but give no added buffs.

Bland Pea Soup: Peas, Salt

Meat Stew: Pecarry chop, Alien drumstick,

Effect: Attack rate up & Blunt/sharp EXP gain

Veggie Stew: Super tomato, Potato,
Antiverse wheat
Stats: Hunger 45 Thirst 43
Effect: Agriculture EXP up



Sustenance Soup: MRE
Stats: Hunger 20 Thirst 20
Effect: accuracy & reload EXP up
(great soup with 1 ingredient)



Sweet Porridge: Antiverse wheat,
Melted Ice cream (must be melted)
Stats: Hunger 23 Thirst 32
Effect: Vending machine items more effective



Sugary Slop: Doznuts, Jowlers, Skip
(vending machine food)
Stats: Hunger 55 Thirst 22
Effect: Stamina up with drawbacks



Hearty Stew: Exor heart, Carbunkle mushroom, Super tomato
Stats: Hunger 52 Thirst 46
Effect: Inventory weight reduced by 25%


Balanced Stew: Raw Carbunkle,
Carbunkle mushroom, Salt
Stats: Hunger 22 Thirst 26
Effect: Crafting & Construction EXP up



A&L Mega Stew: Exor heart, Exor arm,
Alien drumstick
Stats: Hunger 74 Thirst 20
Effect: Strength & Speed up



Greyeb Chowder: Greyeb, Milk sac, Potato

not sure why you cant add the drumstick as i have made that soup many times, ill do some testing to see if cooking raw food for any amount of time makes it unable to go into soups

I just had a Philoso-raptor moment: Manse says the Exors are vaguely Avian, so I guess they taste like Chicken? Roflmao
Also the food in this game reminds me of the memes about the Lava Snail; our first question when discovering something new is 'Can we eat it?'
Also a bit of District 9: Cat food is to Prawns as slightly irradiated nachos are to Pests.
