****unimportant to fps means you can max it without many consequences if running a decent machine

Vertical Synchronization - unimportant to fps

MSAA Antialiasing - super intensive setting with big fps hits, recommended to keep it at 0-4

Landscape LOD - super intensive when on surfaces of planets and moons, recommended to keep it at 0

Landscape Loading Speed - doesn't hit fps but can cause unstable fps, recommended to keep it at 10

Self-emission/planet shine/eclipse shadows/fxaa antialiasing/dithering/ring shadows on sky - unimportant to fps

Landscape Target Resolution - super intensive on surfaces of planets and moons, recommended to keep it at 1080p

Environment Maps Resolution - unimportant to fps, but do NOT set it to 4096 as it will give you 1 fps

Warp and reflection update interval - unimportant to fps

Black hole update interval - set it to high, ultra is somewhat intensive

aurora quality/ship engine quality/planet shine/anisotropy level/detail textures/3d stones - unimportant to fps

compress textures - leave this disabled

volumetric rings quality - unimportant to fps

Rings target resolution - unimportant to fps but don't go above 1440p

Rings resolution - unimportant to fps

fast temporal rendering - leave this enabled

gravitational lensing precision - this is one of the two most demanding settings in the entire game, i have it set to 0.3, but go as high as you can without experiencing significant lag. not noticeable unless you are looking at a black hole

Volumetric object resolution while moving - most intensive setting in the entire game, i have mine set to 0.45 but go as high as you can without experiencing significant lag, not noticeable unless you are looking at something like a nebula or a galaxy.

while stationary - unimportant to fps
