Beginner's Guide: Tips and Tricks to Get Started

Thief is key

- Spoils of War (Passive ability)

Getting extra items and money from defeating enemies early is very good, it helps with upgrading vehicles since you need parts which are gathered from chests.

- Boom Box (Ally skill)

Chance that the enemies you encounter drop items.

- Pilfering Pro (Passive ability)

Increases the chance enemies drop items.

- Plunder (Active ability)

Swipe items from enemy vehicles and has a chance to cause enemy vehicles to breakdown.

Side quests

Not a lot to talk about here, just that by doing them you will unlock stuff later in the game.

Play with any vehicle you like

Mainly in the game you will be using your vehicles, so its better for you to try all of them and get used to them. For me for example i used the Jump bot the most since i like going on high terrain and shoot enemies from above. You can also use them depending on the situation you are facing. Make sure to upgrade them consistently from the items you get while playing.

Combat

- Beelzebub's combos and Ally Skills

Since some encounters in the game you cannot use your vehicles, you will need to learn the combos and dodging when you see a red indicator above the enemies head.

Ally skills can assist you in your fights, depending which path you take later. For example, Rao is good for holding aggro and fights along side you. Thief on the other hand excels at getting money and breaking vehicles.
