INTRODUCTION
This guide offers a structured approach to building and optimizing your farm. Feel free to adapt it to your play style.
Initial Setup:
Start by creating a few crop patches and fill them with wheat.
First Building to Construct
HAIKU’S HOUSE: Haiku aids in watering, harvesting, and construction.
  • This doubles Rusty's efficiency in farming and other tasks.
Second Building to Construct
ECHO’S WORKSHOP: Upgrade robots for increased efficiency.
  • Though costly and time-consuming, it's crucial for automation.
Now that Echo's Workshop has been built it's time to optimize your bots. Build the Biofuel Bot first, then the Harvest Bot and Lastly the Water Bot.
  • Then start maximizing the capacity of your Biofuel Bot.
  • Biofuel can be converted to cash, and it’s produced more rapidly than coins from junk.
  • Next, focus on increasing the capacity of your Harvest Bot.
  • This will boost your biofuel production.
  • Once the Harvest Bot capacity is optimized, turn your attention to maximizing the capacity of your Water Bot.
  • This will also boost your biofuel production.
Finally, enhance the speed of your bots. Start with the Biofuel Bot, followed by the Harvest Bot, and lastly, the Water Bot.
Third Building to Construct
SPLUNK'S HOUSE: Automates seed planting, reducing micromanagement.
  • This will take even more time than Echo’s Workshop and is the costliest building.
  • The reason this building is important as it automates planting the seeds which is the only thing you have to do since nothing else does that.
  • Once set up, you’ll only need to manage this single task, allowing for a more idle game play experience without excessive micro-management.
Fourth Building to Construct
SLATE'S BARN: Enables fossil digging for resources and farm animal creation.

After its complete build an Animal Feeder as soon as possible.
  • Once built Slate will be going around collecting fossils, as soon as you have enough, create a cow or swine and keep adding them till your animal feeder is full. The animals will ear then walk around and poop.
  • Now create a Feeder Bot first, to feed the animals.
  • Then create a Waste Bot to collect their poop.
  • Then create a Fertilizer Bot to fertilize the soil with their waste.
  • Then Create a Fertilizer Facility to hold the poop.
  • Then start upgrading the Bots. Start with Capacity then Speed.
Best to max out the Fertilizer Bot first, then Waste Bot and lastly the Feeder Bot. As the waste from the Fertilizer Bot will speed up how quickly your crops grow.
Fifth Building to Construct
FORBIC'S HOUSE: Collect biofuels from bulb hives.

Once built plant a few Blueberry bushes. You’ll need a certain amount to unlock the Raspberry bushes and so on and so forth.
  • You’ll also need to build a Bulb Hive, Bulbs collect the berries from the bushes that are then turned into Biofuel.
  • I would also build a butterfly cage as butterflies help speed up the collecting process.
  • You will also want build a Berry Bot and Max it out again starting with capacity and then speed.
You also want to make sure the Berry Bot is near a storage unit so if you don’t have any build one near the Berry Bot so it can deposit the berries it picks.
Sixth Building to Construct
SONNET'S SHOP: Purchase decorations to beautify your farm and help with crop automation.
  • Placing signs will help Splunk plant specific crops to help fine tune his automation. Additional you can add decorations to design and fill empty spaces to your liking.
Seventh and Last Building to Construct
PINION'S HOUSE: Track farm statistics.
  • No resource contribution, provides insight into farm performance and statistics.
Land Expansion
PRO TIP:
  • Expand land plots gradually, salvaging closest plots on both sides and working outward. Since item movement is restricted to full plots, extra land on both sides facilitates easier rearrangement of objects.

I think this overlooks an important element which is building wells and storage units.
upgrading bots speed is fine but costly and takes a while to get all the upgrades in. placing several storages and wells amidst your farm reduces the needed travel time and controls bot behaviours (i.e. water bots will water the closest plant to them so if theres no water on the far end the plants on the far end will be watered last/not at all)

Berry Bot has no capacity upgrades...

@LavaLamp Great reminder I forgot about that, will update to reflect that information. Thank you.

The signs from Sonnet's shop actually force Splunk to only plant that seed in that plot, not entirely useless if you want to focus on certain crops
