Shulva, The Sanctum City (SK)
CROWN OF THE SUNKEN KING

From Majula to Sanctum Walk bonfire:

Starting from the Far Fire bonfire, warp to Hidden Chamber bonfire inside Black Gulch. If you have not reached that area yet, you will find it throwing yourself into The Pit in Majula. Get to the bottom and traverse The GutterBlighttown 2.0. At the end of it, you will find Black Gulch.

Defeat The Rotten, one of the primal bosses in the game, and continue to a three headless snake fountain. Use it and you will be warped to the chamber with the door tha leads to Shulva, The Sanctum City. Inside it you can put your summon sign and be summoned to the DLC even if you do NOT own it

Walk around getting the object on a corpse just pass the hallway and you will face something that looks like this:

Do not be afraid, he is not going to kill you yet. After his unpleasent awakening you will find the Sanctum Walk bonfire.

From Sanctum Walk bonfire to Tower of Prayer bonfire:

From Tower of Prayer to Dragon's Sanctum:
Dragon's Sanctum (SK)
From Shulva, The Sanctum City to Hidden Chamber bonfire:
From Hidden Chamber bonfire to Lair of the Imperfect bonfire:
From Lair of the Imperfect bonfire to Sanctum Interior bonfire:
From Sanctum Interior bonfire to Elana, The Squalid Queen:
Elana, The Squalid Queen (SK)
Цитата допису Wrathful Axe:
When the Abyss dissipated, the things that called it home were fragmented and scatered across the realm. Eventually these pieces regained form, in ways that hinted at humanity's true nature.

Elana is a humanoid being armed with a hammer-like halberd whose main attacks are dark based homing orbs, dark Fire Swathe, Darkstorm, Affinity and halberd swipes. She is also capable of summoning beings to help her and teleport through the arena.

To prepare yourself for this fight, carry twenty-five per cent weigth or less or carry a high stability and dark resistance shield(Dark Transgressor's Leather Shield/Dark Rebel's Greatshield/Dark Havel's Greatshield), and fire/dark resistance gear(Raime's Set/Penal Set). Focus on keeping your health topped at all times, health regenerations items are recommended(Butcher's Knife/Loyce Shield/Ring of Restoration/Ivory Crown); and ways to increase your magic resistances(Great Magic Barrier/Flash Sweat/Dispelling Ring/Dark Quartz Ring/Fire Quartz Ring).

Elana's physical attacks are few but high damaging ones. Trying to block them usually results in a painful death because of the common use of 2 or 3 hit combos. She can also teleport behind you in order to morph you into undead pulp. They are all easily avoidable by rolling away, that's why it is so important to keep low weigth, you dumb f*ck Havel monster.

Elana's magic spells are pretty dangerous because she can target you in every place of the arena, and they chase you during the fight. They can be easily avoided by rolling and can also be blocked with 100% resistance shields:
  • Dark Storm: Elana stays in place for a moment, raises her left hand covered in dark and releases a circle of darkness which produces high damage and medium knockback. Avoid by rolling backwards from her.

  • Dark Orbs: Elana moves her left hand towards you and throws dark orbs at you. They can be a succesion of 3 or a row of 5 orbs. The succesion can be avoided and punish by walking or running to the side and the row can be roll through.

  • Affinity: Elana summons three orbs around her that will start chasing you. Do not underestimate their homig capabilities.

  • Flame Swathe: Elana moves her left hand to her left side and one or two flame swathes appear near you, usually behind you. Avoid them by running away or rolling forward.

  • Summon Alies: Elana can summon alies to help her in combat. She has three summons available: The pigies from Majula, a bunch of skeletons and VelstadtI swear to the almighty God of the Internet, the Invisible Pink Unicorn, this is NOT a typo.

After exiting victorious of the room of Elana, use the Sanctum Nadir bonfire. You will see another fog gate ahead. This will lead to the final boss in this DLC.
Sinh, The Slumbering Dragon (SK)
Цитата допису Soul of Sinh, The Slumbering Dragon:
The King erected a magnificient city, and the dragon slept soundly. Until Sir Yorgh disturbed it with a single great strike, and the dragon could bear its store of poison no longer. The rain of death toppled the city, but restored the dragon's purity.

Sinh is a dragonoh, you don't saywhose main attacks are free falls to the ground, claw swipes and brething toxic fire. He is also capable of wearing down the durability of your equipment pretty fast.

To prepare yourself for this fight, carry high phsycal/fire resistance gear like Smelter Demon set, Lost Sinner set, etc... Also, a 100% Physical Damage reduction shield with high fire resistance, like the Gyrm Greatshield could prove very useful. Focus on cutting his tail first and carry poison moss and repair powder. Thank me later.

Sinh's physical attacks deal high amounts of damage and can deplete your stamina in one hit if you are using a shield, so Baneful Bird Ring and Chloranthy Ring to make sure you do not run out of stamina. Thier fire attacks will intoxicate you, so bring Blooming Purple MossClump Poison Moss or Dragon Charms, and when he is taking off rebuff yourself. You will need to defend from a lot of things:
  • Hit and Smash: Sinh claws in front of him with one of their front legs and follows it with a stomp to the ground. Counter it by rolling to the leg which is not using and get back to avoid the following stomp.

  • Frontal Charge: Sinh charges at you with his head in his right side. At the end of the attack it moves the head like a whip extending his hitbox range and dealing tons of damage. Counter it if you have a high stability (70 or more) shield blocking it, but it is safer to watch him as he is preparing the charge to unlock him and run away as fast as you can.

  • Spin To Win: Sinh starts circling around him with his claws. If the tail is not cut yet, this attack will have absurd range. Counter it by running away as fast as you can. Do not try to block it the second or third hit will leave you without stamina. This attack is probably the most dangerous one.

  • Frontal Freefall: Sinh gets into the air and throws himself against you. Usually this attacks makes him cross a lot of space. Try running out of the way.

  • Air Fireball: A Fireball that produces an explosion upon contact. Rolling twice will usually get you out of its range, and blocking with a greatshield like Gyrm's can resist it pretty well.

  • Ground Flamethrower: Sinh gets his chest up and throw fire into the ground. He usually does this attack when someone his hitting him in the head or chest. Get advantage, run behind him
    and chop his tail off.

  • Frontal Flamethrower: Sinh throws fire in front of him, staying in position or from left to right. Run away if you are too far or get close to him and get a couple of hits.

  • Aerial Flamethrower: Sinh leaps into the air and falls while trying to morph you into undead bacon. One roll with enough agility will put you in a safe place.

Once Sinh's poisonous flesh is decorating your shoes, claim your Sunken Crown and move forward. You still have something to kill.
Cave of the Dead (SK)
OPTIONAL AREA
Do I need an object to enter?
Yes, The Eternal Sanctum Key.
Are there any interesting items to pick up?
Yes, The Lightning Clutch Ring, The Sanctum Shield, The Hex Dark Greatsword and The Flower Skirt.

From Tower of Prayer bonfire to Priestess' Chamber bonfire:
Remember the Key you got in the area with spooky knights? Well, now it is time to use it. Warp to the Tower of Prayer bonfire and follow the usual path to the Dragon's Sanctum, but instead of following the main path, at your left you will see a closed wall. Use the key there.

From Priestess' Chamber bonfire to Cave of the Dead:
From Cave of the Dead to Cerah, Graverobber and Varg:
Brume Tower (OIK)
CROWN OF THE OLD IRON KING

From Majula to Throne Floor bonfire:
Use the Far Fire bonfire to warp to Eygil's Idol inside the Iron Keep area. If you have not discovered this area yet, follow the path Majula -> Huntsman's Copse (Skeleton Lord's path)-> Harvest Valley -> Eathern Peak -> Iron Keep. Once you are there, get to the chamber with the Primal Bonfire, which lies below the Old Iron King arena.
You will find a fountain with three headless snakes. Praying will get you teleported to the back door of the main area of this DLC: Brume Tower. Here you can put your summon sign to help other players even if you do NOT own this DLC.

After opening the door and using the lift you will find an awesome view of the areawhere your butt is going to s**t scorching iron. Use the iron chain as a narrow path to get to the top of the tower, getting Smelter Wedges in the process. You will find out what they are for soon enough. When you get up the chain you will see something like this.

Rest at the bonfire and prepare your Estus.

From Throne Floor bonfire to Upper Floor bonfire:
Go up to the Throne and you will see a creature that summons dark fire pillars from the ground. Equip fire resistance gear and get close to her. You will be able to stab one of the Smelter Wedges in her, but do NOT do it yet. We will save it for when the DLC is over.

Behind her there is a hidden path which lead to a small set of stairs ending in a corpse holding a Dexterity Ring. Back to the main path, you will see a pile of boxes you have to drop to and close to them a door. Pick up the Growth balm and after the door enemies will show up from the ash, be ready to face this kind of enemy throughout the whole DLC. There is a Rogue Water, a Large Soul of a Proud Knight and Twilight Herbs.

Down the ladder you will find Blackweed Balm round the metal pipe. Keep going down to an area and you will find behind you a corpse with Scythe+7. In the path ahead there are Prism Stones and a chest with a Titanite Slab. Down another ladder you will find an area with more ashen warriors and another of Nadalia's statues. Clear the room, behind you there is a small corpse with the pyromancy Dance of Fire and more Ashen warriors. Use the lever, open the door and go left. There are more ashen warriors, Old Mundane stones, Lloyd's talisman and a fake wall with chests.

From Upper Floor bonfire to Foyer bonfire:
From Foyer bonfire to Lowermost Floor bonfire:

From Lowermost Floor bonfire to The Fume Knight:
Now with the last of your Smelter Wedges doing their job with all remaining Nadalias. When the 4 are indistinguishable from the ash that covers...everything, enter the fog and prepare.

I want to warn you. A lot of people have called this boss THE BOSS OF THE SOUL SERIES. And they have a lot of reasons for it. When you enter the arena you will notice a big Ultragreatsword sunk into the ground and covered in ash. Once you come closer a black shadow will arise and the boss battle will begin, so if you want to buff yourselfand if you are not a Covenant of Champions bad*ss like myself you WILL, do it after entering the boss fog.

The Fume Knight (OIK)
Цитата допису Fume Ultra Great Sword:
The Exile swordsman Raime had the ability to expunge the black fog, but chose to live alongside it, in company of the child of dark that haunts his sword.

If you have completed the DLC from Dark Souls, this battle will remind you of Artorias and, although Raime found and used Artorias' Greatsword, he is way more dangerous than Artorias. His main attacks are composed of rapid swings from his straight sword followed by a wide arc from his huge ultra-greatsword. And when his health drops down to almost a half, well...

To prepare for this fight, equip low weight gear with high fire and dark defense, both Quartz Ring to increase the resistance even further, Chloranthy Ring to restore stamina and the last ring of your choice, my recommendation is Royal Soldier Ring to have more weight capability. You can also equip your heaviest gear, Smelter Set is my personal recommendation because of it's high fire resistance, and Gyrm Greatshield, to have something to block his attacks. I would also recommend health regeneration items to avoid the chip damage he does. And one quick note: Raime is not affected by the Red Eye Ring, so do not bother using it.

On the magic hand, I extremely recommend using Whispers of Despair to reduce his physical defence, especially if you are cooperating with another player. Another great spell, if you have the Crown of the Sunken King DLC, is Denial, which will safe you from lots of deaths, although be aware of his combos. The last spells I recommend are Flash Sweat and Magic Barrier, which increase your fire and overall magic resistances(Great Magic Barrier is better, but the common one can be used in your companions if they can not use it).

When you first enter the room he will draw both of his swords and start attacking you with a combination of them:
  • Great Swipe End: Raime does two swings and a thrust with his straight sword followed by a wide arc from his Fume Ultra-greatsword. Avoid it by rolling or blocking the straight sword hits, and then roll against his Ultra-greatsword.
  • Side sweeps: Raime will try to hit you with wide horizontal swings from any of his swords. Roll or block it.
  • Fume Buff: Raime will sheathe his straight sword and buff his Ultra-greatsword with fire. This means entering his second phase. He can also be forced to enter this phase by wearing Velstadt's Helm.

Now Raime becomes more aggresive than any boss in the game and his damage output goes through the roof. When he does you should rebuff, heal and change your equipment if necessary, I recommend to stay under 50% weigth to avoid certain "attack":
  • Dark Fire Combo: Raime will do two or three swings two-handing his sword, and can be followed by a back jump. Block it or avoid it, although blocking it will reduce your stamina greatly and do chip damage.

  • Dark Fire Thrust: Raime will run and thrust his sword, usually done from far away or after a back jump. Avoid it by rolling through it and get a couple of hits.

  • The Great Swipe: Raime will buff his sword even more and do a slow swipe that does a lot of damage. Avoid it by dodging through it, because if you dodge away from it you will need two rolls at least because the sword almost makes a 360º arc.

  • The Dark Explosion: Raime most dangerous attack by far. When you see him buffing his sword inside the ground, lock out and run back as fast as you can. Raime will stab his sword inside the ground, doing an area of effect explosion that will make you fly away like a puppet if you are close, followed by a barrage of fire orbs with one-hit kill capabilitiesyes, their damage in NG+ and beyond is stupidly high. They CAN be roll through, but It is usually safer to roll inside the gaps between them.

Congratulations, you completed the second DLC, you have to clean the ash from your burnt leggings and you have to go on with your newfound crown. Prepare your Tauntaun, we are exploring the coldest place on this gamebesides Nashandra's heart, that little dark ♥♥♥♥-face.
Iron Passage (OIK)
OPTIONAL AREA
Do I need an object to enter?
Yes, the Tower Key.
Are there any interesting items to pick up?
Yes, The Pharros' Mask and The Soul of the Aged Smelter Demon.

From Foyer bonfire to Iron Hallway Entrance bonfire:
Once the Scorching Iron Scepter is doing its job, go down using the lift and use the Tower Key to open a small metal door. Go on the only path lying ahead until you go down another lift. After the lift you will find the entrance to the Iron Passage.
From Hallway Entrance bonfire to Smelter Demon:
Memory of the Old Iron King (OIK)
OPTIONAL AREA
Do I need an object to enter?
Yes, the Ashen Mist Heart, the Crown of the Old Iron King and the Tower Key.
Are there any interesting items to pick up?
Yes, one Smelter Wedge and the Soul of Sir Alonne.

From Foyer bonfire to Smelter Throne bonfire:
From Smelter Throne bonfire to Sir Alonne:
Frozen Eleum Loyce (IK)
From Majula to Outer Wall bonfire:
From Outer Wall bonfire to Abandoned Dwelling bonfire:

From Abandoned Dwelling bonfire to Inner Wall bonfire:
Aava, The King's Pet(IK)
Цитата допису Soul of Aava, The King's Pet:
Each of the Ivory King's seven beasts was conferred a specific duty. Aava's was the guardianship of the King's beloved child of Dark.

The Guardian of The Great Cathedral of Eleum Loyce, commanded by his kind King, to protect his dear Queen while she watches over Chaos.

Once you have traversed Frozen Eleum Loyce, warp back to the Outer Wall bonfire and now turn left. You should see(if you are human and not in the COC) two NPC summons, although if you can afford two players it will be better. Pass the fog gate and across the walk you will find Aava, The King's Pet.

Aava's main attacks force you to have high magic resistance(Spell Quartz Ring/Dragon Tooth/Black Witch Set),or a high stability magic resistant shield(Magic Havel's Greatshield +5).
It is also recommended to wear 50% or less weigth, to roll freely and recover stamina as fast as you can. You will need it.
There are three main attacks that can hit you with magic:
  • Crystal Summoning: Aava summons a circle of magic crystals around him. Counter it by going backwards and hitting it with ranged attacks.
  • Magic Explosion: Aava stays still and lays down before unleashing a magic wave around it. Counter it by going backwards(more than you may think), and using that long time to recover and/or attack from afar.
  • Crystal Soul Spears: Aava groars into the air and summons 5 CSS. Counter them by walking form one side to another from far away and rolling at the last time.

Aava can also use three main physical attacks:
  • Claw swipe: Aava claws in front of him. It can do it once, twice and combine it with jumps. Counter it by rolling at the last moment. The shoulder also counts as the claw, so beware of clunky hitboxes.
  • Backwards swipe: Aava tries to hit you by turning around. Counter it by rolling away from it.
  • Grab bite: Aava jumps withs its mouth wide open. If it grabs you, you will suffer heavy damage. Counter it by rolling backwards.

Once you have defeated that snow tiger, move up the stairs and to The Cathedral. Right in front of you you will see a bonfire. Recover yourself from the scratches and continue going upwards.

You will see a door and another frozen chest. Open the door and talk to the NPCAlsanna, The Silent Oracle.
After a deep lore-related speech, Eleum Loyce will be free of the snow storm and all of the paths blocked by ice will be opened.
Now you have to choose: Revisit Eleum Loyce and gather yourself a small army worth of the Chosen Undead, or go down and see the final area of this DLC.
The Burnt Ivory King (IK)
Once you fall down to the depths of Drangleic, you will be followed by the Eleum Loyce Knights you gathered for your army.

You will enter an arena with three dark portals, from which the Burnt Eleum Loyce Knights will spawn. Try to kill them as fast as you can as your Knights sacrifice themselves in order to seal this portals for good. These Burnt Warriors will use pyromancies like Fire Snake, Great Combustion or Great Fireball.

When one or none or the portals remain active an earthquake will disturb you. Look ahead, oh Chosen Undead, because you must become king of another land once more.

The Burnt Ivory King

Цитата допису Ivory King's Ultra Great Sword:
It is said that the Ivory King was once the highest ranking knight in his home of Forossa, famed for its god of war. After taking his crown, they say he was the first to swing his sword in times of need, be it for his homeland or his people.

Once a great Forossan warrior, the kind Ivory King arrived at Eleum Loyce, sacrificing himself in order to save his land, his people and his quiet Queen. Once the Chaos was unavoidable, the King plunged himself along his great Eleum Knights; and the Queen stood in his throne, watching over the Old Chaos, who's hunger still lingers.

To prepare for this fight, equip every magical resistence gear you have, for example the Throne Watcher or Black Witch Sets; and Spell Quartz Ring for increased resistance. This boss moves a lot so having a Magic infused Magic Shield or Magic infused Havel Greatshield depending on your Vitality is also recommended. Because of this, Royal Soldier Ring or Dragon Ring to stay under 50% weight is recommended.

Talking about spells, forget to attune any magic or fire based spells, this boss is highly resistance to both of them, even poison based spells. Because of this, Hexes and/or Miracles are more useful for this fight; remember to equip Magic Barrier in order to avoid chip damage from his buffed sword.

His variety of attacks is pretty decent, and the magic buff that he uses and that can run out of allows him another two different attacks, beware of his high speed attacks and his turnbacks:

Frigid Outskirts (IK)
OPTIONAL AREA
Do I need an object to enter?
Yes, The Garrison Ward Key.
Are there any interesting items to pick up?
Yes, The Ring of the Living, Mirrah's Hat and The Souls of Lud and Zallen, The King's Pets.

From Abandoned Dwelling bonfire to Frigid Outskirts:
First, you need to get the Garrison Ward Key. Get to second bonfire, go around to the fountain area and follow the path you will usually follow to get to the second bonfire again from above. Just before falling down you will see a snow path leading to a closed door with four sconces. Light them up with a torch and it will open.

Once inside kill the Flexile Sentry on your right and open the illusory wall on the left. You will arrive to an area with lots of white retainer rogues and corpse holding the Bone Fist. Kill them from afar and get to the end of the cave. Destroy the last Sentry and get the Garrison Ward Key.

Now that you got the key, remember the path with undead prisoners and a rampart golem behind? Go there and open the door behind. You will find a coffin and the Expulsion Chamber Bonfire. Lit the bonfire and get in the coffin. Hell awaits.

Once you arrive at Frigid Outskirts, you will notice that this is an area with a non-stopping blizzard that leaves you blind for a long timeremember the fog and the invisible guys inside Shaded Woods? This is WAY worse. Looking close to the point where you landed are some statues and 2 NPC summons: Abbess Feeva and Head of Vengarl. Behind you there is a
Memory of the King
OPTIONAL AREA
Do I need an object to enter?
Yes, The Ashen Mist Heart.
Are there any interesting items to pick up?
No.

The Memory of the King is the place you should see when you have the 4 crowns in the same game cycle. To get access, get to the Undead Crypt and use the Ashen Mist heart in the armor of Vendrick. Of course, Vendrick must be defeated and his crown retrieved while you are human in a hidden door inSatan's PlaygroundShrine of Amana.

When you arrive there, the only thing you can do is talk to the King. I will put this on spoilers because i do not desire to screw up the lore of this game.

"All credit goes to Fextralife"

Цитата допису King Vendrick:

As flame rises, so does it fade.
Such is the way of things.
Do you intend to link the fire?
Then you must first take the throne.
Prove your worth.
Find the ancient crowns.
Seek adversity, and they will be yours. And your wishes, granted.
The fire...

Coveter of the throne... I am Vendrick, ruler of Drangleic.
Seeker of fire... deliverer of crowns...
What do you see in the flames?
Find the crowns, and your own answers.
The crowns hold the strength of lords from times long past.
Seek adversity.

As befits you, seeker of fire, coveter of the throne.
I'm no king. I am more fit to be a jester.
I was unaware of my own blindness.
We are feble vessels, with feeble souls.
We would cast aside the prop of life, only to face greater hardship.
Are you another such fool? Or something more?
I fail to see your design, young moth.
I fail to see your design, wee moth.
But I see very little these days.

Seeker of fire, conquerer of Dark.
I too sought fire, once.
With fire, they say, a true king can harness the curse.
A lie, but I knew no better.
Seeker of fire, you know not the depth of Dark within you.
It grows deeper still, the more flame you covet.
Flame, oh flame, I am king of this wretched unravelled kingdom.
I subdued the giants, and claimed their strength, so that I might step closer to fire.
Drangleic will fall.
The fire will fade, and the souls of old will reamerge.
With Dark unshackled, a curse will be upon us.
And men will take their true shape.

Seeker of fire, I see you've subdued another foul creature.
One of the Father of the Abyss' spawn.
That confounded quintessence of Humanity.
The abyss once had form, but then disappated.
And yet traces of its existence endured.
Each fragment, thirsting for power, spread Dark with no relent.
My dear Shandra, was one such fragment.
The feeble, tiny thing that thirsted for power more than any other.
Driven by unsatiable lust for a worthy vessel.
Fire came to be, and with it disparity.
Heat and cold, life and death, light and dark.
Dark was seen as a curse.
Shadow is not cast, but born of fire.
And the brighter the flame, the deeper the shadow.
Inherit fire, and harness the dark.
Such is the calling of a true leader.

One day fire will fade, and dark will become a curse.
Men will be free from death, left to wander eternally.
Dark will again be ours, and in our true shape, we can bury the false legends of yore.
Only... is this our only choice?
Seeker of fire, coveter of the throne, seek strength.

The rest will follow.
