Gameplay FAQs
How do I scroll so I can see more of my farm?
  • Hold down the right mouse button to scroll back and forth

What does the gold cog on Rusty's barn do?
  • Click on it multiple times to earn Spare Parts currency!

How do I move a building once it's placed?
  • The move button is located in the "Buildings" tab, next to the bulldozer icon
  • Select the building/plot you want to move, then select and click the new location
  • Moving is not instantaneous and takes a little time - Rusty or Haiku (if unlocked) will relocate boxes from the old location to the new location
  • Note: Houses you build can be moved, but not demolished

Can I rotate buildings/bot stations?
  • The game does not currently have a "rotate" option at this time (Build 1.0.7)

How do I unlock more land to expand my farm?
  • The grayed out tiles on either side of your farm are areas that can be unlocked for building
  • The bulldozer icon in the center of each gray area shows the Spare Parts cost to unlock
  • Once unlocked, Rusty or Haiku will take a minute or two to clear out the junk, which will give you some Spare Parts back
  • Once the area is cleared it will become green grass that you can build on

What do I do with giant crops?
  • Giant crops have a random chance of spawning and can be harvested by clicking on them multiple times
  • Note: You can keep giant crops as decorations, but if you move the crop patch it will delete any crops planted on that patch

How do I get bulblets to visit my berry bushes?
  • Build a Bulb Hive and make sure berry bushes are planted within it's radius
  • You should soon begin to see bulblets hovering around any berry bushes in radius of the hive
  • Note: You'll see butterflies and bulblets flittering around your farm without building a cage/hive, but these appear to be just for aesthetic purposes and will not actually affect the growth of your berry bushes.

How do I harvest berries?
  • You'll need to build a Berry Bot in order to pick berries and carry them to storage units, Harvest Bots will not harvest berry bushes
  • Note: Berry Bots can be upgraded like Harvest Bots and also consume biofuel to function

NOTE: This FAQ is a work-in-progress and will be expanded upon as more questions come up. Feel free to comment with additional helpful tips so they can be added. Thank you!

I'm playing on a MacBook without an external mouse and I don't have a right click—I've tried control-click, command-click (usually does the trick), option-click, shift-click, but nothing works. Please advise!

@Estelle by default he picks one of the last 8 seeds you've unlocked. You can buy signs from Sonnet's shop to dedicate a plot to a particular kind of plant though.
