What Is the BSR Calculator?

BSR Calculator is a tool written in Kotlin by me for this game to calculates the chance of the current shell in the shotgun being a blank or a live shell as well as keeping track of shell knowledge throughout the round.

How Do I Get the BSR Calculator?

Simply visit https://github.com/actual-kwarter/buckshot-routlette-calculator/releases and download the latest release (.zip for portable, or .msi for installable).

How Do I Use the BSR Calculator?

1. At the start of a new round, input the shell lineup in a "Live/Blank" format. Example: There are three live shells and two blank shells, you would input "3/2".
2. Submit the round lineup and the fields below will update.
3. If you have knowledge items such as the burner phone or magnifying glass, you can input shell knowledge in a "Location/Shell Type" format. Example: If the phone tells you that the fourth shell is a blank, you would input "4b".
4. For each shell that is fired/cycled through the shotgun, click the respective Live/Blank buttons. The odds will be updated automatically as you proceed.
5. To reset at the start of a new round, just enter a new shell lineup and submit.

Oh, sorry for spamming the comments, but a suggestion - since the game doesn't show you what your max HP is per round, having a small icon in the corner you can click to track that would be nice. For example, a heart shape with a number in the middle that increments between 2,3,4,5,6 that you can alter each new round so you can keep track of what that round's max HP is.

Don't forget, folks - if they inverted the shell, click the opposite. So if they inverted and then shot a live, make sure you click blank or your count will be off.

Works well for the multi as well - trying to keep track of shells while also strategizing what items to use, who's got a grudge against who, who to steal items from - it can be a headache. So this helps a lot there, so you can spend less time memorizing and more time considering your options.

I did have one round that seemed to bug where it got to two shells and wouldn't let me update it. I'm not sure if that was a problem with the tracker or if I might have entered erroneous shell knowledge and confused it. Probably the latter, but if I see it happen again I'll try to take note of what led up to it if possible.
