CORPSES - Flee to balcony, wait
CREAKING - Flee to front door or window, no stairs or moving doors
CROW OUTSIDE - Flee to no-window room until wing sound
DARK TREE VISION - Look at lit candles until bird sound
DREAD HEART PREDATOR - Flee to brother's room, look at door until clear
KNOCKING - Follow knocking, pull door after 7th knock, or be still
MIST - Flee to bedroom or balcony
SILENCE - Noise 4 times a minute (TV?)
SLENDERMAN - Flee, don't look at it
SWARM - Flee until clear

Slayer_22, read the guide from "Predator Event Start" the rooms are listed. However, my personal choice is heart of the woods.
Mushroom, I'm assuming that you would've read the achievement in the achievement list. But it's surviving the fight against Buck without dying once.
One fight is against one of the most powerful established eldritch beings, the other is against a dude who can't die.
And as far as I can guess, I am thinking that some of the things listed in the book are meant as red herrings, especially the house one as it is almost always tied in with the firstbornes messing with the floorboards and such while you're at the hearts.
