Which Slayer Should You Choose
The six Slayers in Dead Island 2 can be divided into three class archetypes that we'll call Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight. While each of these Slayers has their own unique stats and Innate Skills, you’ll find overlaps and shared Skill Cards between them, placing them into three pairs.

Class Archetype
Lightweight - Amy and Bruno
Middleweight - Dani and Jacob
Heavyweight - Ryan and Carla

Lightweight Slayers Amy and Bruno are best used for Critical Damage and Agility. If you pick either of these Slayers, you’ll want to think about approaching zombies stealthily especially if they’re isolated, to make the most of their heavy hits.

Amy
Amy’s Innate Skills
Relief Pitcher - Amy regains STAMINA when hitting a zombie with a weapon throw
Divide and Conquer - Amy gets a minor DAMAGE boost when she attacks isolated zombies
What Amy lacks in Toughness, she makes up for in her Agility. In fact, her Agility is better than any of the other Slayers in the game. Amy’s best used when attacking zombies from afar, throwing weapons to catch them by surprise, or dashing over to isolated zombies and getting a sweet attack boost while doing so. Don’t forget to duck and dive when using Amy, to get yourself out of sticky situations and avoid her being taken down in a few hits.

Bruno
Bruno’s Innate Skills
Backstab - Bruno gets a moderate DAMAGE boost when attacking zombies from behind
Rapid Reprisal - Boost Bruno’s AGILITY and HEAVY ATTACK CHARGES when he avoids attacks with a BLOCK or DODGE
Bruno packs the best Critical Damage in the game but does have the lowest Peak Health. With Bruno, it’s best to dodge and block to land those heavy blows, but then retreat quickly to avoid imminent death. Sneak up on zombies and attack from behind for an added damage boost that will splatter them in no time.

Middleweight Slayers Jacob and Dani are best used if you want to focus on Stamina and Peak Health. For both of them, this means you can get up close and personal with zombies and hack and slash away to your heart’s content. But you’ll need to keep an eye on health recovery for both of them and pick up plenty of snacks, drinks, and med kits along the way.

Dani
Dani’s Innate Skills
Thunderstruck - Dani’s HEAVY ATTACKS trigger a FORECFUL explosion on impact
Bloodlust - Dani regains HEALTH when slaying multiple zombies in quick succession
Dani has the worst Health Recovery in the game but does have the Innate Ability of Bloodlust which negates this somewhat. When slaying multiple zombies in quick succession, Dani will regain health, so dive in head first and bring plenty of melee weapons to hack and slash your way back to full health. Keep picking up protein bars, and energy drinks, and always carry the max amount of health packs to keep Dani thriving.

Jacob
Jacob’s Innate Skills
Feral - Jacob gets a stackable minor DAMAGE boost when attacking in quick succession.
Critical Gains - Jacob’s CRITICAL HITS when stamina is low get a moderate CRITICAL DAMAGE boost and regain STAMINA
Jacob is well-rounded with Toughness, Agility, and Critical Damage. The addition of the best Peak Health in the game, and fantastic Stamina means you should get in the midst of those zombie hordes and let Jacob unleash a fury of attacks. Just be careful of zombies with specific status attacks, as Jacob has low resilience.

Heavyweight Slayers
Carla and Ryan are our Heavyweight Slayers and their best used if you’re looking for Toughness and Resilience from your character. They might not be the fastest fighters, but they’ll do well up against environmental hazards and can withstand plenty of knocks.

Carla
Carla's Innate Skills
Mosh Pit - Carla gets a minor DAMAGE boost when close to multiple zombies
Dig Deep - Carla gets a moderate TOUGHNESS boost while her health is critical
Carla has the best Resilience in the game. So when she’s in areas where she doesn’t just have the worry about the zombies, but the environment, too, she’s going to stick it out. She’s also got good Toughness and her Health Recovery and Peak Health are decent. This means she’ll be able to handle a few knocks, while also getting a damage boost when multiple zombies are around.

Ryan
Ryan’s Innate Skills
Retaliation - Ryan gets a moderate FORCE boost when using BLOCK or DODGE to avoid an attack
Seesaw - Ryan regains HEALTH each time he knocks down a zombie
Ryan has the best Toughness in the game, and his Health Recovery, Stamina, and Peak Health are all pretty solid. Thanks to his Toughness and excellent Resilience, he can take a number of hits that hordes of zombies will deliver. Keep dodging and blocking with Ryan to regain health and get ready to deliver heavy attacks when a zombie stumbles.

Who’s the Best Slayer to Play As?
There isn’t one answer to this question, as it largely comes down to preference of play style. However, as Jacob and Dani are Middleweight Slayers, they’re good in most situations you’ll find yourself in, making them solid choices. Dani also has the added bonus of negating the worst Health Recovery in the game with her Bloodlust ability which helps her regain health when taking out large numbers of zombies.

That being said, if you prefer to play stealthily, Amy or Bruno should be your go-to. And if you like your Slayers tough and resilient, opt for Carla or Ryan. No matter who you pick, there’ll be plenty of Skill Cards to mix and match to create a Slayer tailored just for you. Plus, by completing Challenges you can give your characters permanent stat boosts that will apply to all Slayers.
Things Dead Island 2 Doesn't Tell You
While you’re hacking and slashing your way around Hell-A in Dead Island 2, it's easy to miss information that would've saved you lots of time had you known earlier.
Not Everything Shows Up on the Map
As you unlock each district, icons will appear on the map to show you where you can find things like fuse boxes and lock boxes. However, not everything will be visible. You’ll want to keep an eye on the Compass Bar at the top of your screen to find nearby points of interest and have them show up on the map. Some districts will have as little as 15 points of interest, while some will have a huge 40+ to find.

Named and Apex Zombies Drop Goodies
If you see a named zombie in the area, chances are, killing it will lead to a key being dropped. When this happens, it will always be a key to a lock box that’s somewhere in the vicinity of where you’ve just tackled the undead, but you might not always know where. You can easily check keys from the Keys Tab in your Inventory Menu, for a description of the lock box you’re looking for. Not all named zombies will drop keys, but there are 146 of them to find. As well as named zombies, you can expect Apex zombies to drop goodies, too.

Health Slowly Replenishes
You don’t have to just rely on protein bars, energy drinks, or med packs. Your health will always recover, albeit slowly, when you’re out of danger. Each Slayer has a different stat when it comes to Peak Health and Health Recovery, so how quickly this happens, and how much health you have to begin with will depend on who you choose.

Eat Delivery Zombies Drop Food
If you do want to grab a protein bar or energy drink quickly, and you’re in the middle of slaying a horde, look out for Eat Delivery zombies. They’ll drop snacks and drinks from their bags as soon as you’ve taken them down.

Health and Recovery Items Have Extra Benefits
Medkits aren’t just great for healing in Dead Island 2, they’ll also remove any status effects for your character. So whether you’re on fire, or accidentally stepped in a bit of acid, pop a medkit and you’ll be cured. Energy drinks are also useful, not just for health recovery, but to build your fury meter as well.

Things Respawn
Whether you comb through every inch of the game collecting as much loot as you can, or you dash through and only grab the essentials, it doesn’t matter as over time all things respawn. Dead Island 2 encourages you to keep revisiting districts to complete side quests, find named zombies, or unlock secrets. During these revisits, you’ll notice areas will become filled with loot again. Stock up on as much as you can, then travel around when you need to upgrade your weapons to quickly find parts.

The Zompedia Makes Killing Easy
In the Collectibles Menu, you’ll find the Zompedia under Blueprints and Journals. This is your definitive guide to every Common and Apex zombie type you’ll encounter in Hell-A. Each Zompedia entry has four tips and tricks to help you deal with that particular zombie type by revealing its weaknesses. To unlock each stage of information, you’ll have to kill a certain amount of the specified zombies. For example, when you take on your first Crusher, you’ll find out that you can jump over their Overhead Smash attack.

Track Items
You can track items you need to craft specific mods or blueprints. While making the most of items respawning, why not track the parts you need? This way you can keep an eye on the number of parts you have and how many you still need to get your hands on.

Ignore the Skope Boxes at the Start
You’ll find Skope boxes in plenty of homes and buildings as you run around the game, and you might be wondering what they are, or if the “Server Offline” pop-up is related to your game. These will make sense later on in the game, so to avoid spoilers, just ignore them at the start!

Challenges Give You Permanent Buffs
There are a massive 84 challenges to complete while playing Dead Island 2, so you might not notice that some of these challenges actually give you permanent buffs. Aim to get these completed first, to give your character a little extra boost. Challenges that will give you persistent stat boosts or improve weapon damage include:
  • Serial Killer - complete Combat challenges to boost Peak Health
  • Weapons Expert - complete Weapon challenges to boost Weapon Damage
  • Batter Up! - Slay zombies with Curveballs to increase Curveball Damage
  • A New P.B - Slay Runners for a boost to Agility

Alternate Between Selling and Dismantling Weapons
At the start of the game, you’ll want to dismantle duplicate weapons to increase the number of parts you can use for mods and blueprints. However, you’ll soon find that with looting and dismantling, your inventory is full in no time. There’s a Storage Locker for your weapons, but rather than stuff this to the brim with weapons you’re not going to get much use of, you should start to sell your common weapons with lower stats and keep those with the best mods.
The aim is to get the rarest weapons you can and upgrade and modify these into powerful zombie-slaying machines—and for that, you’ll need money. Later on in the game, as you find better weapons, you'll also discover that even without perks they can be sold for quite a bit of money.
Tips & Tricks
Collect every weapon to scrap or sell
You're going to find a huge number of weapons during your zombie-slaying journey, and you should grab every one. You can carry up to 16 so hang on to the most valuable ones you find as spares, stashing them in Storage Lockers where possible so you can sell them to the next Trader you meet. You can also scrap weapons for parts through your inventory, which is useful to ensure you have enough crafting components to apply your favorite

Check the Storage Locker's Unclaimed Property tab for missed weapons
When you access Storage Lockers, make sure to check the Unclaimed Property tab, as this is where any special weapons you may have missed from missions or rewards end up. They often have decent stats and mods so are always worth investigating, but if they don't improve on your current gear you can always transfer them to your inventory and sell to the Trader for a quick buck.

Don't choose your weapon purely on Power
When selecting a weapon, you'll naturally be drawn to the biggest Power number. However, this shouldn't always dictate which one you choose to use - take a look at the other stats too as, although Damage is important, you should also consider Force (how much stamina you'll drain from enemies) and Speed, as you don't want to be waiting a long time between swings. Elemental upgrades are also an important consideration, as some zombies are immune to certain damage types and the wrong weapon could barely register on them – even if you're hitting them with a huge hammer!

Stomp on downed zombies for instakills

Practice block/dodge and counter combos
Even with all the weapons you can wave around, one of the most devastating moves you have is a well-timed block or dodge just as an enemy hit comes in. Get it right and you'll stun them and open up a counter attack involving a couple of quicktime trigger presses that will usually kill a zombie straight away.
When you're in the counter animation you can't be attacked by other zombies or take elemental damage either, which makes this move great for crowd control or when you're in the thick of a big fight. When combined with the right Skill Cards you can also regain a decent chunk of health for each counter you perform, which is very useful for keeping your HP up.

Don't always aim for the head
Don't be distracted by the old zombie cliche of always aiming for the head, as the best point of attack is determined by the type of weapon you have equipped - which you can find listed above the name on the weapon wheel and inventory screens. Headhunter weapons do deal critical hits to the head, but Maiming weapons generate critical hits on the limbs, so you should target them instead. Other weapon types include Frenzy that delivers critical hits with rapid attacks, and Bulldozer that converts all heavy attacks into critical hits. Get to know your current weapon, so you can tailor your approach to combat accordingly.

You can level up weapons but it's expensive
As you earn XP and level up your character, the zombies you face off against will also level up to become more challenging. Your weapons have levels too, and if it's more than a couple below the enemies you're fighting then you'll struggle to deal damage. At Workbenches you'll see the option to Match Level for weapons that have dropped below the current level, as well as a preview of what Power it will increase to, but this can be an expensive process and often costs between $10,000-$20,000 to complete. Hence the earlier tip to sell weapons you're not using.

You don't need to fear death
You shouldn't stress too much about dying here as it doesn't have much actual impact on your progress. All that happens is you'll respawn just before the area you died in, so you can get straight back in for another attempt. Ideally with a different approach to get a better outcome.
Dying will send you back to the start of a scripted boss fight, but if you're battling with a tough enemy in the more open-world areas then they won't regenerate health, so you can keep going back and chipping away at them until they're done.

Always Buy Fuses
Vendors, such as Carlos who lives at Emma’s house, will sell them. His stock is not infinite, but it will replenish over time. The same is true for the other vendors in the game. So, when fuses are available, max out the inventory because the investment will be worth it.
Don't open all the Fuse Boxes too early though! Weapons scale with your Slayer's level in Dead Island 2, so if you want to find some rarer weapons, wait until you're a bit further into the game before you open those Fuse Boxes.

Beware Of Skulls
Certain enemy zombies will have a skull next to their health bars, instead of levels. This will usually indicate that players are in the wrong area at the wrong time. It’s a way to signify extreme level differences between enemies and players. It’s okay to run in these circumstances and that’s a good rule of thumb, overall.

You don't have to visit a Workbench to scrap things. You can do it straight from your inventory. Do this after the first mission to get rid of your beginner weapons.
Pick up weapons as you explore. Just dismantle any that are much lower than the level you are at to stock up on parts quickly.

Purchase the ammo blueprints
Several hours into the game, you will unlock guns, allowing you to begin spraying the undead with lead rather than getting up close and personal. While you can still find ammo when exploring, it's much rarer than other resources, so you will need to use other methods to stay stocked up.
Once guns are unlocked, vendors will also begin selling blueprints for the different ammo types, allowing you to craft them at workbenches. They are fairly easy to make and don't require many resources, making them the best way to keep your ammo reserves high. Use your guns once you unlock them
Combat Tips
  • Standard attacks don't cost you stamina. Heavy attacks do though!
  • Even if you run out of stamina, you can still keep going! Unlike many other games, even when your stamina runs low, you are still able to perform essential actions such as attacking, dodging, and sprinting. What you can't do are jump attacks like flying kicks, special attacks like dash strikes or ground pounds, or charged power attacks.
  • Weapon variety is key. Keep a weapon wheel that's full of weapons with different profiles, perks, mods, and status effects. Each weapon will have unique strengths, so experiment and capitalize on its benefits.
  • So is your skill set. Customize your skill set and regularly check and update your Skill Cards to match your playstyle.

  • Don't neglect power attacks. They can be tricky to land, but can be devastating, especially when using Bulldozers.
  • Kicks are great! They can even stunlock enemies if you alternate kicking and hitting
  • When in doubt, decapitate! Zombies won't last long without their heads.
  • Adapt to elemental foes. Pay attention to enemies with elemental attacks, and switch weapons accordingly. Fire mods won't help against flaming zombies!

  • Aim of the head. When you have a Headhunter weapon, it deals bonus damage with headshots.
  • Cripple 'em. Maiming weapons target limbs, increasing your chances of incapacitating zombies.
  • Combo frenzy. Score critical hits with Frenzy weapons by chaining multiple hits rapidly.
  • Mow down the horde. Bulldozer weapons excel at dispatching groups of standard zombies.

  • Trip-up runners. Disable their legs to prevent dodging.
  • Disarm your enemies. Removing limbs alters their attack patterns.
  • Throw your weapons! They can be a great way to finish off enemies that are dangerous to get close to, and you can pick them right back up afterward.

  • Stop Crushers in their tracks. Remove their arms to avoid ground-pound attacks. You can also leave their arms intact if they're surrounded by enemies so they'll damage them as well. Make sure to jump over the impacts though!

  • Enemies that have a red triangle seem like a big danger, but they can also be a great tool. Whether they be Electric, Grenadier, or (whatever another one is). Use bait to group zombies together, and then throw a weapon at the special zombie so they hit all of the enemies in the surrounding area.
  • The environment is your ally. Keep an eye out for environmental hazards to maximize damage.
  • Fire or even Electric weapons can be tossed at gasoline to create an explosion.
  • Use a ground pound attack near tanks and cans. It'll not only knock down a group of zombies immediately around you but also cause an environmental explosion whether it's electricity, fire or caustic damage.
Weapon Type
Base Damage

It'll tell you the type of damage the weapon can do, whether that's projectile damage, blunt damage, or sharp damage.
This stat will tell you how the weapon behaves. For example, tactical weapons boost agility, while demolition weapons have automatic critical hits. We'll explain better each weapon profile later in this guide.

Amount of Damage

The amount of damage a weapon inflicts varies based on different factors, like the type of zombie you're fighting, the kind of weapon you're using, the rarity, and its level.

Some zombies will be weaker to certain types of weapons. For example, you will significantly benefit from using sharp weapons on runners so you can maim their legs and prevent them from running in your direction. We explain in more detail the different strategies for each type of zombie in our Enemies guide, so go check that out.

The Weapon's Rarity
  • Improvised: Improvised weapons are the easiest to find, especially during the game's early hours. Sure, these weapons do as advertised, but they break super quickly, so you should work towards finding more quality weapons asap.
  • Common: common weapons are slightly better than Improvised ones, and they're a decent option if you can't find anything better.
  • Uncommon: Things start to change when you access uncommon weapons or higher. Not only does this weapon tier deal more damage, but they have one mod slot and one perk slot, so you can further upgrade them in workbenches.
  • Rare: Rare weapons have all the perks of uncommon weapons plus an additional perk slot.
  • Superior: Superior weapons have one mod slot and three perk slots.
  • Legendary: Legendary weapons have one mod slot and four perk slots. They usually come with amazing fixed perks.
All Legendary Weapon Locations

Maiming Weapons

Maiming weapons specialize in dealing extra damage to limbs, enabling you to sever them from a zombie's body and subsequently increase your stamina. These weapons are ideal when:

Targeting specific zombie parts for collection
Crippling a zombie to reduce its attack capabilities

Frenzy Weapons

Frenzy Weapons deliver swift attacks in rapid succession. As you continue striking with a Frenzy weapon, the damage builds up until all hits become critical for a short period. Additionally, heavy attacks charge faster when using Frenzy weapons. Utilize these weapons when:

Facing large groups of zombies
Capitalizing on fast-paced combat situations

Bulldozer Weapons

Bulldozer Weapons are designed for destabilizing and stunning zombies. They can also be thrown to damage multiple enemies near the target. These weapons are particularly effective when:

Dealing with apex Variants to make them more vulnerable
Crowd control and keeping zombies at bay

Headhunter Weapons

Headhunter Weapons are tailored for precise headshots, dealing significant damage to zombies. They also enhance agility, increase range, and maintain charging speed during heavy attacks. Utilize these weapons when:

Aiming for quick and efficient zombie elimination
Maintaining mobility in combat

Demolition Weapon

Demolition Weapons guarantee critical hits when targeting vulnerable zombies and also enhance toughness during reloads. These weapons are particularly effective when:

Prioritizing high-damage attacks
Maintaining survivability in intense combat situations

Rapid-Fire Weapons

Rapid-fire Weapons enable you to fire bullets in quick succession. Landing a series of consecutive hits on zombies eventually grants a brief window of time where all shots become critical. Utilize these weapons when:

Engaging multiple zombies from a distance
maximising damage output in a short period

Tactical Weapons

Tactical Weapons enable players to perform critical hits, boost agility, and increase reload speed simply by blocking or dodging. These weapons are ideal when:

Employing strategic gameplay
Engaging in situations that require quick reflexes and adaptability

Sharpshooter Weapons

Sharpshooter Weapons are designed to maximize precision and power during gameplay. They feature a unique Aim Mode that enhances damage output when activated, and they excel at dealing critical hits when targeting zombies' heads and limbs.
To make the most of these weapons:

Take your time to aim and ensure your shots connect with your targets for maximum damage.

Practice headshots and limb shots to increase your chances of scoring critical hits and efficiently eliminating zombies
Interactive Map
How to Change Daytime
First, you must have finished Main Quest 14: The Red Mist. This unlocks fast travel. Now interact with a fast travel map at any area’s headquarters and you will get a screen to change between day and night.

That’s all there is to it. You can only pick DAY or NIGHT. You can’t pick an exact daytime like morning / noon / afternoon. The time of day doesn’t impact the availability of any quests. What zombies spawn in each area is more dependent on story progress rather than daytime. As you advance the story and meet new zombies for the first time, they will start spawning in old areas too. Some uniquely named zombies that drop keys for lockboxes also require story progress before spawning.

Unlike in Dying Light, zombies aren’t more aggressive at night than they are at day. So in general it doesn’t matter if you play at day or night.

All Blueprints

Looking for all 36 Dead Island 2 blueprints for weapon mods? Weapon mod blueprints return from the earlier games in the series and can be used to customise your weapons, giving them a more powerful punch, an explosive impact, or an electrifying touch. These status effects are themselves crucial to taking down the more powerful zombie variants you’ll encounter throughout the game, so you need to know where to find these blueprints and what you need to equip them.

Haus DLC Achievement & Roadmap
  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2-3 Hours
  • Offline Trophies: 6
  • Online Trophies: 0
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: 0
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
  • Minimum Playthroughs: 1
  • Free-Roam / Level Select after Story?: Yes, you can freely roam the DLC after completing the story
Introduction

Welcome to the Dead Island 2: Haus DLC Trophy Guide! This is the first DLC for Dead Island 2. Just like the main game, the DLC is also very easy and straightforward to 100% with most of the trophies being story-related. The DLC can be started by looking for the orange icon in Bel-Air, just outside of Emma Jaunt’s mansion, after completing the mission “Room Service for Major Booker”. While you can access the DLC very early on in the game, it’s recommended to do the DLC after finishing the main story since it can spoil a lot of upcoming plot points.

Step 1: Complete all 6 Main Missions

This step will take up the majority of your time since completing all 6 main missions is the bulk of the list. You can also focus on some of the miscellaneous trophies while clearing your way through the story, but you can very easily come back to get them later and just solely focus on clearing the story for now.

Step 2: Clean Up
During this step you’ll want to focus on getting any of the 3 miscellaneous trophies you might have missed while clearing the main missions. The only one that might pose any sort of challenge is Top That, Trisha since you need to be quick with your aim.

Automatic story-related trophy. This unlocks after completing the mission of the DLC.
One of Us Received Konstantin’s gift.
Pork Chopped Defeat Long Piglet.
Whatever It Takes Complete the Rites of Passage in Haus.

Wilhelm - Send 15 zombies to their doom in the bottomless pits.

During the main mission “The Deeper”, you’ll be tasked with heading into the underground club known as The Deep by going through the house at the end of the Suburban neighborhood and heading through the broken wall where the kitchen would be. In this area, there will be a lot of holes in the ground that if you or a zombie fall into, will die. You’ll need to kick a total of 15 zombies into these pits around the area.
It’s recommended to equip the Drop Kick skill card while going for this trophy since it does less damage than Jump Kick, while also knocking back zombies further. With it equipped, you’ll want to get the zombies’ attention and try to get them as close as possible to the pit and then either do a regular kick or a drop kick to knock them into the pit.

Top That, Tisha! - Get five headshots with the Crossbow in quick succession.

At the very start of the main mission “Dinner Date”, you’ll find the K-Prototype crossbow. From this point on, you can attempt this trophy whenever or wherever you want.
The best way to earn the trophy however, is to find an area where a lot of Shamblers, Walkers, and/or Runners spawn, such as Venice Beach. Before starting, it’s recommended to put the Speedloader perk on your Crossbow so your reload speed is faster, which will give you a bit more window for error.

Fast travel to the Blue Crab and go outside into the parking lot. Turn to the right and jump over the fence to get the attention of as many zombies as possible. Once you think you got enough zombies, jump back over the fence and all the zombies should be lining up along the fence. Doing this method, you can aim your shots easier without risk of getting interrupted by a zombie from behind. Just make sure you’re still quick with your shots.

Lawn and Order - Maim 10 zombies with gardening equipment in the Cul-De-Sac’s tall grass

During the main mission “The Invitation”, you’ll be tasked with heading into a Suburban looking neighborhood by going through the left hallway in the main room of the DLC.
While in this area, if you walk on the grass it will spawn zombies to come attack you. You’ll need to maim a total of 10 zombies while on the grass in this area using a weapon such as a Shovel. You can find a Shovel in this area behind the second house on the left from the entrance of the area. You’ll want to aim for the zombies legs so you don’t accidentally kill them before you can main them. After maiming a zombie for the 10th time in this area, The achievement will unlock.

Introduction

Welcome to the Dead Island 2: SoLa DLC Trophy Guide! This is the second DLC for Dead Island 2. Just like the main game, the DLC is also very easy and straightforward to 100% with half of the trophies being story-related. The DLC can be started by looking for the orange icon in Bel-Air, on any of the Fast Travel maps. While this area is accessible early in the game, it’s recommended to do the DLC after finishing the main story since it can spoil upcoming plot points.

Step 1: Complete all 9 Main Missions
This step will take up the majority of your time since completing all 9 main missions is the bulk of the list.

Automatic story-related trophy. This unlocks after completing the mission of the DLC.
Drop The Beat - Defeat The Dirge and silence the Beat
No Encores - Help calm Grace by suppressing the Beat
Three’s a Crowd - Survive your first Clotter encounter

The Direct Approach - Ram into 5 zombies in a single charge

RAM is a special attack skill card ability that can be found next to a zombie corpse on your way to the Main Stage during the main story mission ‘Dance For Me’.
Once you collect it, go into the Skills menu > Abilities > equip RAM as one of your cards.

There are plenty of zombies in various areas where you can achieve this trophy. A good area is during the main mission ‘Dance For Me’ as you are required to enter a large open air area near the main stage and take out quite a few zombies.

Once in the area, lure the zombies to you so they are in a group or line together to begin a running charge that will allow you to rush through a group of zombies. As soon as you hit 5 in one run, the achievement will pop.

Rip ‘n’ Tear - Slay 5 zombies with a supercharged Ripper, and bisect 5 more with a Sawblade Launcher

You will need two different weapons: the Ripper and Sawblade Launcher. You can only complete this after the DLC story as The Sawblade Launcher is given to you as a reward at the end of the last DLC main mission ‘The Sound Of Violence’.

To craft more sawblade disks you need to collect the blueprint for them from the vending machine downstairs in the safe zone after speaking with Grace.
You can purchase the Ripper from the vending machine in the safe area downstairs where Grace resides

Once you have both weapons, head back outside, climb over the fence and look for zombies around the festival to kill.

For the Ripper kills there is a new animation that happens once you initiate the kill. First you need to kill 2-3 zombies to get the Ripper powered up and once the blade is spinning you can then proceed to get the five required kills.
Now switch to the Sawblade Launcher and like the Ripper, charge up the weapon and once you find some zombies, fire 3 sawblade disks at once which will kill or bisect the zombies. Once you have done this 5 times, the achievement will be yours.

Festival Clean Up Simulator - Clean up the large Caustic-X spillage in Utopia

This achievement requires you to clean up a Caustic-X spillage in the Utopia area. As you approach an enclosed area where the acid spill is, there will be a note attached to a sliding gated entrance. Take the note and you can begin the clean up.

In order to stop the Caustic-X spill you will need to pick up water cans and pour water onto the acid.
Enter the small area and turn the nozzle on the acid barrel off, located in the far left corner. You will be attacked here by two Hazmat Suit Walkers, so be ready to take them out before continuing to stop the Caustic-X spill.

Turn around and with the water can, pour water onto the last acid spill which is amongst a small pile of waste in the opposite corner. Once you have done this, you will earn the achievement.
