Berserker - Avoid / Unplayable
Slightly higher HP pool. Terrible stamina. Slow stamina regen. Low movement speed.
15 Gear
9 Perk

Amazon - Great Predator
Good speed, average health pool. Stamina pool is great but leaping takes away a lot of stamina, stamina regen is average. Movement speed is great.
8 Gear
14 Perk

Bionic - Recommended
Below average health pool. Low movement speed, stamina and stamina regen. Makes up for it with passive energy regen. Only viable for long distance combat.
15 Gear
9 Perk

Captured - A tier Predator, recommended
Average health, seems similar to Elder. Speed is okay. Stamina pool is low, stamina regen is average. Energy regen isn’t that great but can be balanced with a perk. Long distance combat recommended.
10 Gear
12 Perk

Celtic - Playable only with the right perks
Somewhat okay but health pool is not that great. Leaping eats away the stamina, stick to the trees. Movement speed is average, stamina pool is average, stamina regen is average. Great when used for long distance combat.
11 Gear
14 Perk

Chopper - Playable only with the right perks
Below average health pool. Has average stamina pool, stamina regen is average. Energy reserve is okay, energy regen is average. Best used for close combat.

13 Gear
11 Perk

City Hunter ‘97 - Recommended
Average health pool. Slightly better stamina pool and stamina regen. Speed is good. Close combat recommended with the correct perks. Downside - Locked Wrist Launcher that cannot be removed.
12 Perk
10 Gear

Emissary - Avoid / Unplayable
Slightly higher health than average. Stamina pool and regen are horrible. Gear points are great but not useful. Movement speed is average at best if even that. Not usable in any scenario.
15 Gear
9 Perk

Exiled - Avoid / Unplayable
Smaller than average health pool. Excellent stamina and stamina regen. Hit and run type of Predator but recent perk changes and changes to Fireteam guns makes Exiled extinct. Movement speed is slightly above average.
11 Gear
10 Perk

Falconer - Playable only with the right perks
A slightly faster movement speed, bigger stamina pool and slightly more health - type - of version of Exiled but has more uses due to more Perk points.
11 Gear
13 Perk

Mr. Black - Avoid / Unplayable
Wasted potential. Could be a really good Predator but the health pool is low, stamina pool is average and so is regeneration. Movement is a bit slower than average. Has good energy capacity and energy regen.
12 Gear
12 Perk

Alpha Predator - Avoid / Unplayable
Low health pool. Below average, even below the default Hunter. Stamina is also poor, stamina regen is awful just like the Viking and Berserker. Speed is actually okay.
10 Gear
13 Perk

Elder - Recommended
Below average health, slightly. Poor stamina pool and stamina regen. Great gear and perk points. Ideal for long distance combat. Average movement speed.
12 Gear
13 Perk

Scar - Great Predator
Best of the best. Over average health pool, not too much. Stamina pool and regen is fine. Energy pool and regen is fine. Perfectly usable for close and long distance combat. Movement speed is slightly higher than average.
13 Gear
10 Perk

Pirate - Great Predator
Average health pool. Average stamina pool and regen. Energy pool and regen are somewhat low but still usable. Great gear and perk points. Can be used for close and long distance combat.
13 Gear
12 Perk

Valkyrie - Playable only with the right perks
Lower than average health. Stamina pool and regen is fine. Movement speed is higher than average. Energy pool and regen are slightly lower than average. Great perk points allow for various uses. Suggestion to use for long distance combat.
9 Gear
12 Perk

Viking - Avoid / Unplayable
Large health pool, the highest in the game. Stamina pool is below average and stamina regen is slow. Movement speed is the slowest in the game. Energy pool and regen are horrible. Avoid using this Predator unless you want to meme.
10 Gear
12 Perk

Samurai - Avoid / Unplayable
One of the worst Predators in the game. Has great specializations but the below average health pool, stamina and energy make it so bad. Movement speed is fine but perk points make it a very poor choice to use as a Predator. 2nd worst after the Viking.
10 Gear
10 Perk

Wolf - Great Predator
Average health pool. Not the fastest movement speed, average at best. Stamina pool and regen are fine. Energy pool and regen are good. Absolutely great amount of perk points. Can be used for a hit and run close combat build but the best is for long range combat.

There are some if not most Predators missing from this list. There is a reason for that. Not every Predator is playable. Not every Predator has the correct or the best loadout possible. This is due to the fact that the Predator's numerical statistics are so bad, that you cannot make it playable. This current list is a list of Predators that are playable with the loadouts provided. But you're also welcome to mix and try for yourself, before you do that though, please refer to the perks page so you know what kind of perks are useful and what perks are useless.
List of Perks
Branch Master - Faster movement speed in the trees
Note: Useless perk, do not use in any scenario

Clotted - Extended Blood trail intervals
Note: Useless perk, do not use in any scenario

Energy Cell - Increased Energy Reserves
Note: Useless perk, do not use in any scenario

Impenetrable - Take less damage from bullet based weapons
Note: Completely useless, do not use this perk at all

Large Pouch - Increased uses of gear items
Note: A must have on some Predator loadouts, increases how many healing kits you have, also any gear you might have (bear traps, Motion Detectors and/or Audio Decoys)

Light Bender - Cloak consumes less energy
Note: Filler perk for Predators with low energy capacity

Medic - Heal with the med kit at a higher speed
Note: A must have perk on almost every single Predator. You can heal yourself in just 3 seconds compared to the default 10 seconds.

Modified Reserve - Faster energy regeneration
Note: Great filler perk for Predators with low or average energy regen

Resourceful - Increased Experience from all sources
Note: Completely useless perk, avoid using it

Spectral Awareness - Larger sound indicators in Vision Mode
Note: Completely useless perk, avoid using it

Dithered Lens - Reduced Plasma Caster laser visibility
Note: One of the best perks to use with the current meta of the Predator game, a must have, especially on day maps

Fearless - Deal extra damage with melee weapons
Note: Personally I would avoid this perk completely because the extra damage is not worth it but it will allow to kill a lone or separated Fireteam member faster

Cooling Syncs - Reduced cooldown on energy overloads
Note: Avoid using this perk, there are better filler perks to use

Long Jump - Leap further distances
Note: A filler perk for a Predator loadout that is melee based and allows to put more distance between you and the Fireteam after a combat engagement, to heal

Down Range - Deal more damage with ranged weapons
Note: Another must have perk, along with Dithered Lens due to current meta of the game, a fully charged direct Plasma Caster hit does 150 damage if not more with this perk

Height Advantage - Take reduced damage while in the trees
Note: Avoid using this perk, better filler perks to use, also takes too many perk points

Impatient - Reduces the cooldown period of the Second Wind ability
Note: Avoid using this perk, there are better and other filler perks to use, also takes too many perk points

Hanging On - Extends the duration of the Second Wind ability
Note: Avoid using this perk, better and other filler perks are available to use

Observant - See mudded Fireteam infrared footprints
Note: Avoid using this perk, better and other filler perks are available to use

Adrenal Boost - Bonus stamina and exhaustion recovery
Note: Filler perk for Predators with low stamina pool and stamina regeneration, mostly used for Stalker spec or for a melee loadout Predator

Protection - Bio mask receives less damage
Note: Filler perk, especially for Bionic Predator, can also be used on other Predators since the Bio mask tends to take a lot of damage in melee combat

Trapper - Tougher traps (takes longer for Fireteam to escape)
Note: Absolutely useless perk, you may down a Fireteam member with this but it does not guarantee a kill or a claim, a trapped Fireteam member is going to be surrounded by teammates, avoid using this perk

Ascender - Faster Predkour mounting speed
Note: Filler perk at best, since the meta of the game has changed, it’s better to stick to the trees, because the branches provide cover to some degree. The Fireteam has to break the branch in order to deal damage to you. Allows for faster mobility around the map.

Heated - Vision Mode consumes less energy
Note: Another filler perk at best, for Predators with a low Energy capacity and energy regeneration.

Fast Hands - Faster weapon/gear switching
Note: Filler perk, but a great perk on a melee loadout Predator, have your keybinds for set for the weapons you use and have a keybind for “Last Weapon Used”, then combining this perk with for example the Net Gun, then switching to main weapon fast, is quite nice. Remember to not attack the netted Fireteam member but the ones around. A netted Fireteam member cannot damage you.

Ironside - Take reduced damage from behind while moving, healing, claiming, or performing a stealth kill
Note: Useless perk, avoid using it. The damage reduction is so low compared to the perk buffs the Fireteam has for increased damage to the Predator.

Predator Specializations explained part 1
Warrior - 20% reduced parry stun duration
Note: Useless, do not use this specialization. D tier specialization. Avoid!

Savage - Quick Claim restores 20% Health. Long Claim restores 40% Health. Healing begins once the claim animation is fully done. Healing takes 5 seconds to complete regardless of type of claim.
Note: Useful only on melee loadout Predators and if you do claim, make sure you do Quick Claim if there are other Fireteam members alive. Only do Long Claim when you know there are no other Fireteam members around or if it is the last Fireteam member. Otherwise, this specialization is rather useless as there are other, faster and better ways to heal, such as boars and Healing Kit. C tier specialization at best. Avoid this one.

Assassin - 20% increased damage from attacks (melee and long range) that impact the Fireteam member(s) from the back.
Note: This is useful on mostly long range loadout Predators, due to the Plasma Caster dealing Area of Effect (AoE) damage even though it was nerfed. You can still do plenty of damage with this specialization but still, there are better ones to choose. This specialization is most useful when you shoot the Fireteam in the back with the Yautja Bow and Plasma Caster. B tier specialization.

Brute - 50% increase in melee damage (for 3 seconds) when a melee attack is parried.
Note: Another meh specialization. Rather useless, do not use this specialization. D tier specialization.

Stalker - 15% increased damage while at full stamina.
Note: The increase in damage applies to both melee and long range, whether it’s the Battle Axe, Katana, Norse Hammer or even War Club. However, this specialization is most useful on long range loadout Predators, that use weapons such as the Plasma Caster, Yautja Bow and Handheld Plasma Caster, as these three weapons do not require you to spend your stamina. One of the best specializations to use. S tier specialization.

Analytic - 15% increased damage to fully scanned targets.
Note: This specialization implies that you have fully scanned the Fireteam member(s) with the Heat Vision. The increase in damage is from all sources, melee and long range. Newbie friendly and actually a recommended specialization to use. A tier specialization.

Focused - 10% increase in movement speed and 30% increase in energy regeneration after activating Target Isolation. Lasts the duration of Target Isolation.
Note: A mid tier specialization. Only useful if the Predator you have picked doesn’t have fast movement speed or doesn’t have good energy regeneration, or even if you don’t use the Modified Reserve perk. Still, a mid tier specialization, wouldn’t recommend using it as it is only useful when your Target Isolation in Heat Vision is ready to use and that (Target Isolation) takes time to recharge. Between B and C tier specialization. Avoid!

Disciplined - Removes clicking noises while cloaked.
Note: Self-explanatory but I will explain this further. The Predator only makes the clicking noises when a Fireteam member is closeby. If you are near the Fireteam, the Predator will make clicking noises without this specialization, the purpose of that is to help the Fireteam find you by audio. Disciplined removes all of that, you can be around the Fireteam and not make a single clicking noise, which makes this specialization perfect for an ambush attack and overall while fighting with the Fireteam. However, I do recommend this specialization to be used on long-range loadouts, as this allows you to stay up in the trees or on top of buildings and cliffs. S tier specialization.

Fervent - 15% increased damage while all Fireteam members are alive and standing.
Note: This specialization is below mid-tier because you only get the increased damage when every Fireteam member is alive and standing. This means that if you manage to put one or two or even three Fireteam members into a dying state (called down but not out), then this specialization’s damage buff is lost. I do not recommend using this specialization. Between B and C tier specialization.

Tactician - 15% increased damage versus Fireteam members that are trapped, netter or interacting.
Note: This is actually an A tier specialization when used correctly. By that I mean this specialization is for melee loadouts and builds. It is most useful when you carry a Net Gun with you, as a secondary weapon and Bear Traps in your gear. This means you will do 15% more damage to the Fireteam member who is trapped in the net from the Net Gun or a Fireteam Member who stepped into your Bear Trap. The damage increase, however, is for both melee and long-range (Yautja Bow, Handheld Plasma Caster and Plasma Caster). This specialization also requires you to have the perk Fast Hands so that you can quickly switch between your weapons to attack and deal damage, after netting someone. But if you do not use the Net Gun and rely on Traps, use the Large Pouch perk so that you have more Bear Traps to use, if you plan on using the trapper tactic. Between A and B tier specialization.
Predator Specializations explained part 2
Tracker - Target Isolation ignores mud up.
Note: Another A or even maybe S tier specialization to use. Target Isolation will ignore the fact that Fireteam have mudded up. If the Fireteam is mudded up and you do not have this specialization, then they will not show up when you use Target Isolation. This specialization is great for finding Fireteam members who like to mud up all the time and hide, even if they are the last man standing.

Enraged - 10% increase in movement speed and 20% increase in stamina regeneration while at low health.
Note: Has become one of the best specializations to use, along with Stalker, Disciplined and Tracker. At low health, your movement speed increases and you will have faster stamina regeneration so that you can either disengage the Fireteam to go heal. I have also found use for this specialization, especially on the Wolf Predator, because it also increases the movement while you’re up in the trees, back and forth movement on the tree branch so that it’s actually harder for the Fireteam to land hits on you. My recommendation is to use this on long-range loadout Predators because if you use it on a melee loadout and you get put into Second Wind ability (which is the equivalent of down but not out just like on the Fireteam), then this specialization will lose its value. Between A and S tier specialization.

Vicious - Opponents you down bleed out faster and take longer to revive.
Note: Self-explanatory really. If you put a Fireteam member into a dying state (down but not out), they bleed out faster and it takes longer for the interacting Fireteam member(s) to revive the downed Fireteam member. This is great for long-range loadouts or if you have the Yautja Bow in your melee loadout, because then you can basically leap away onto a building, cliff or a tree branch, it basically sets up a bait for the other Fireteam members to show up and revive the downed Fireteam member. This is the perfect opportunity to then damage the Fireteam member that is doing the revive, which basically means you can get “two birds with one stone”. But this specialization is on the border of A and B tier.

Wrathful - 30% increased damage with your next melee attack, after receiving damage from the Fireteam from behind.
Note: C or even D tier specialization. The damage buff is not worth it as you will get melted, destroyed before you can even utilize the damage buff. This specialization requires you to turn your back to the Fireteam and get damaged by the Fireteam while you have your back turned to them, this is not useful at all. Avoid this specialization.

Ghost - 30% additional damage when attacking with melee while cloaked.
Note: Up there with the best specializations - Stalker, Tracker, Enraged, Disciplined. The damage buff is applied every time you cloak and melee attack while cloaked. Melee attacks reduce your stamina and cloaking reduces your energy so be very careful and plan your attack or wait for an opening when one of the Fireteam member’s is a little bit or even completely separated from the rest. When attacking with melee, keep spamming the cloak on to get the damage buff.

Hidden Statistics
Hunter

Takes 7% less damage from bullet based weapons, except for the shotgun.

With the Modified Reserve perk, Cloaking is infinite because the energy keeps overcharging, same with Thermal Vision. If both

Berserker

Does 10% more melee damage to the Fireteam
Takes 10% more melee damage from the Fireteam

Modified Reserve perk does not save this Predator. Cloaking and Thermal Vision keep draining, when both are enabled and separately.

Scout

Takes 9% less damage from bullet based weapons, except for the shotgun.
Melee damage to the Fireteam is reduced by 5%.

Modified Reserve perk, allows this Predator to use both Cloak and Thermal Vision at once. Cloaking however, drains the energy constantly but if you apply both, the Cloak and Thermal Vision, the energy keeps overcharging. You can get 2 fully charged Plasma Caster shots off and still have energy left over to disengage a fight.

Alpha Predator

Takes 7% less damage from bullet based weapons, except for the shotgun.
Does 6,6% more damage to the Fireteam.

Unique ability - when Modified Reserve perk is equipped, engaging Cloak does not consume any energy, you can stay cloaked infinitely. Thermal Vision only will overcharge the energy. Cloak and Thermal vision, if both enabled at the same time, energy is drained.

Elder

Takes 7% less damage from bullet based weapons, except for the shotgun.
Melee damage to the Fireteam is reduced by 5%.
Unique ability just like on the Alpha Predator - when the Modified Reserve perk is equipped, engaging Cloak takes no energy and you can stay cloaked infinitely. Thermal Vision only regenerates energy. Using Cloak and Thermal vision together will drain energy.

City Hunter ‘97

Takes 7% less damage from bullet based weapons, except for the shotgun.

Unique ability - when Modified Reserve perk is equipped, cloaking takes no energy and you can stay cloaked infinitely. Using Thermal Vision will regenerate energy so you can use Thermal Vision infinitely as well. When using both, Cloak and Thermal Vision, energy is drained. Another thing to note: Using short (non-charged) Plasma Caster shots do not drain energy while you are cloaked.

Samurai

Deals 6,6% more melee damage to the Fireteam.
Takes 15% less melee damage from the Fireteam.

Samurai, just like the Berserker, cannot be saved by the perk Modified Reserve. Cloak consumes energy, does not regenerate. Thermal vision consumes energy, does not regenerate. Using both, the Cloak and Thermal Vision, will eat away the energy.

Viking

Deals 13,3% more melee damage to the Fireteam.
Takes 10% more melee damage from the Fireteam.

Viking, just like the Berserker and Samurai, cannot be saved by the Modified Reserve perk. Engaging Cloak will drain energy. Thermal Vision drains energy. Using both, Cloak and the Thermal Vision, will eat away the energy.

Valkyrie

No hidden statistics. (It means no reduction in damage taken and no increase in damage done, unless using perks)

Unique Ability - Just like the Elder and City Hunter, the Valkyrie can enable her Cloak, with the Modified Reserve perk equipped, and have infinite cloak. While using Thermal Vision, energy is regenerated. Using both, the Cloak and Thermal vision will drain the energy. Sidenote: Just like the City Hunter, when Valkyrie uses the Cloak and then shoots the Plasma Caster, non-charged shots do not drain the energy at all. Staying cloaked and shooting the Plasma Caster with non-charged shots does not drain the energy.

Cleopatra

Does 13,3% more melee damage to the Fireteam.

Modified Reserve perk equipped offers infinite Cloak and Thermal Vision. When using Cloak and Thermal Vision at once, the energy drains. Thermal vision will regenerate energy. Cloaking does not consume energy but also will not regenerate energy.

Exiled

Does 6,6% more melee damage to the Fireteam.

Modified Reserve perk equipped - Cloak consumes energy constantly, but Thermal Vision regenerates energy. Cloak is not infinite but Thermal Vision is.

Mr. Black

Does 10% more melee damage to the Fireteam.
Has Passive Energy regeneration already.

With the Modified Reserve perk equipped - Cloak consumes energy constantly, but Thermal Vision only turned on, regenerates energy a lot. This happens even without the Modified Reserve perk. Cloak and Thermal Vision at the same time do not drain energy but slowly regenerates energy.

Wolf

No hidden statistics. (It means no reduction in damage taken and no increase in damage done, unless using perks)

With the Modified Reserve perk, the Wolf Predator stands out. The Cloak by itself is infinite when turned on. Same applies for Thermal Vision. Energy keeps regenerating when Cloak is enabled, when Thermal Vision is enabled, even when both are enabled. This is a very unique ability, how much energy the Wolf Predator can regenerate, even when using Cloak and Thermal Vision.

Emissary

Does 10% more melee damage to the Fireteam.

With the Modified Reserve perk, the Cloak drains energy, so does the Thermal Vision. Using both, the Cloak and the Thermal Vision at the same time, eats away the energy. Not even Modified Reserve can save this Predator.

Bionic

No hidden statistics. (It means no reduction in damage taken and no increase in damage done, unless using perks)

With the Modified Reserve perk equipped, engaging Cloak consumes energy constantly. Heat Vision turned on, the energy regenerates constantly and quite fast. Turning on the Cloak and Thermal Vision on, the energy keeps on regenerating but slowly. You can use Cloak and Thermal Vision together infinitely.

Pirate

No hidden statistics. (It means no reduction in damage taken and no increase in damage done, unless using perks)

With the Modified Reserve perk equipped, turning on Cloak takes energy and then it will keep draining energy. Turning on Thermal Vision (by itself) doesn’t drain energy but other way around, it keeps regenerating energy. When turning on both, the Cloak and Thermal Vision, energy keeps regenerating slowly, so you basically have infinite energy.

Amazon

Does 6% more melee damage to the Fireteam.

With the Modified Reserve Perk equipped, turning on the Cloak will regenerate energy and is infinite. Same applies for Thermal Vision. When Cloak and Thermal Vision are used at the same time, energy is drained very slowly.

Celtic

No hidden statistics. (It means no reduction in damage taken and no increase in damage done, unless using perks)

Modified Reserve perk - Cloak alone can be used infinitely and energy keeps regenerating, same applies for Thermal Vision. Using Cloak and Thermal Vision at the same time, regenerates energy at a moderate speed. So infinite Cloak and Thermal Vision when both are enabled and energy keeps regenerating.

Scar

No hidden statistics. (It means no reduction in damage taken and no increase in damage done, unless using perks)

Modified Reserve perk - Same as Celtic but the regeneration speed is slower. Using the Cloak only, you can stay infinitely cloaked and energy keeps regenerating. Using the Thermal Vision, the energy regenerates faster, you can use it infinitely. When both the Cloak and the Thermal Vision are used at the same time, they are infinite and the energy regenerates but at a slower speed than Celtic.

New predator witch just dropped, low EVERYTHING except stamina, gear and perks, gear is *slightly* below average, same for perks if I have done my math right.

What a shame, she looks cool but is almost useless, low D tier for me, almost F tier.

if u want to get high levels easy then just set modifiers to make predator nearly invincible then just get a friend to be pred while you are fireteam then just shoot ur friend a bunch of times. i was on level 90, grabbed my rpg when i was playing with my dad and got 100,000 xp and thats how i got lvl 100. :weyland: weyland-yutani emoticon for absolutly no reason

It is also stated in the Guide Updates, that this will be updated with the new parameters, how every Predator performs in the game and a new tier list. Additionally numerical stats for Feral Predator as well. Every single Predator will be revisited and retested as I own them all. I don't necessarily need a Private Match but I will only use that to make sure, if the hidden statistics are still there or not. I will know if Bionic's energy regeneration has been reduced or not. If so, I will change the energy regeneration value as well.

@Bloodshot™

The proof you want is literally available in-game, just create a custom match and pick bionic and you will see what I mean.

It's not above Illfonic to stealth nerf something, especially since the guide was accurate BEFORE Illfonic updated the game.

The info in the guide is not accurate concerning the bionic predator, I literally just finished a custom match (default 'hunt' settings).

The energy statemnet is false, with the modified reserve perk on AND the cloak perk, my energy kept falling with heat vision on.

I would like some proof on that statement about Bionic because when I tested out Bionic, the energy pool and regen were just like last patch.

I feel like this guide needs an update, especially since the Bionic predator got hit with an energy regen nerf.
