How to Exit the Game

Yes, It's sad we need a guide to figure out how to exit a game in 2024.

Exiting in NRFTW

For whatever reason pressing ESC doesn't lead to any menu's that facilitate the exit feature besides slamming alt+f4 on your keyboard.
However such a menu DOES exist.

By using Tab on your keyboard you will bring up the quick menu pane upon which at the very right has an exit game option.

This option sends you directly to the main menu where you guessed it you can finally exit out from the game.
Otherwise just Alt+F4 if you're lazy.

After some testing what I've noticed is if you press the start button while using a controller for eample, the tab select menu comes up. -But if you're using a keyboard/mouse it sends you to the settings part of the menu system instead. Which doesn't have a native exit function unlike the controller menu when exiting the game. You must use the tab key to exit out.

Just imagine not using a mouse or keyboard on a pc... folks need to be humbled they can even use controllers on pc.

If you can't figure out how to quit the game that's on you. Maybe take up a less demanding hobby like watching grass grow or clapping. Also who the h is playing this mouse/keyboard?

Bro, you can even load a game directly to the last whisper by pressing lt+a at the start screen. You should make a guide for this.

I agree it's unusual to not be able to just hit ESC enough times to quit a game, but in defence of the dev's thought process: the exit button is literally right there when you hit the menu button. Hit menu, see exit symbol, go do it. Not really that hard.

Finding an exit have to be always straightforward; it's a common experience.
Let's not reinvent the wheel unnecessarily. Having it accessible through any menu suffices.

Implementing a new tab system menu wasn't essential and it don't work perfectly from my opinion.
It's the same things to focusing solely on QWERTY keyboards without considering AZERTY ones it's just common sense.

@Quagalicious Forget haters, remove negativity from your guide. Everything gonna be positive. I am very greatful for your guide. I literally gave newgative review because i couldnt go to the main menu. Will you make a guide how we can change our keybind plzzz?
