Hidden Summons
Alright, Summons for Rydia! There are 15 total summons. It's going to be a pain trying to get them all because four of them are drop based. The hidden summons have a drop rate of about 1 in 256, so you probably want the Treasure Hunter augment to increase your drop rate. These are the two achievements:

Description
Expert Summoner
You acquired all hidden summons. (Cockatrice, Goblin, Mindflayer, Bomb)

Unfortunately I can't help with drop rates. Again, my suggestion is to get the Treasure Hunter augment by getting 100% exploration on every map to help with increasing your drop rate. You're just going to have to keep grinding and killing, which will help toward your Gil and Enemies killed achievement.

Here's a list of the all the hidden summons, and below will explain how to get them:
  • Goblin
  • Cockatrice
  • Mindflayer
  • Bomb

Name/How It Drops
Bestiary
Goblin:

They drop regular Goblins, Lil Murderers, and Mopingway. I got my drop in Mist Cave at the beginning of the game since they usually spawn in sets of four, but really any Goblin can drop it. Unfortunately I didn't take a screenshot showing the Goblin dropped this. On my hard mode playthrough I just found it in my inventory without taking notice. Mopingway also has a chance to drop it, but you only fight the guy once. So it's incredibly unlikely you'll get it.

Cockatrice:

Drops from all Cockatrice type enemies. I got mine outside of Baron from a Helldiver after like four battles luckily. They spawn a lot in the overworld of Baron and Eblan.

Mindflayer:

Mindflayer spawns anywhere in Lodestone Cavern except in B1. I've had a lot of luck getting him to spawn in the room drawn in B2, but he is an uncommon spawn so it might take some time to find him around the map anyway. If you're having issues finding Mindflayer you can always just use Sirens, but since they're sorta easy to find I'd try to save money by doing random encounters.

Bomb:

This summon only drops from Balloons and Dark Grenades. Balloons can be found in the Tower of Babil (I tried farming them in B4), but it's better to farm Dark Grenades in the overworld or East Tunnel of the Moon because they spawn more frequently and Balloons are with them as well.

Boss Summons

Master Summoner
You acquired all summons. Hidden summons don't count. So it's primarily boss fight summons.

These should be easier to get. 6 of them are obtained automatically. I'll show you the boss locations for the others, but I'm not going to write up a strategy guide on defeating the bosses. The summons are ordered by the earliest they can be received.

Here's a list of the all the boss summons, and below will explain how to get them:
  • Chocobo
  • Ifrit
  • Dragon
  • Ramuh
  • Shiva
  • Titan
  • Sylph
  • Asura
  • Leviathan
  • Odin
  • Bahamut

Sylph:

In Sylph Cave B3. After waking up Yang with the Frying Pan. Must be after Yang sacrifies himself, and before Giant of Babil event. After you escape the Tower of Babil in the Falcon go to Dwarven Castle and have Cid upgrade the airship so it can cross lava. Travel North-West of the Underworld until you reach Sylph Cave. On B3 you'll find where the Sylphs live and find Yang weakened. After speaking to all the Sylphs they'll tell you that he can't leave yet because he's too weak. Find Yang's wife in Fabul Castle to receive the Frying Pan.

Go back to Yang and wake him up. Yang won't join you, but one of the Sylph will join you as a summon. I suggest rushing for this summon after Cid upgrades the airship Falcon so you don't miss it.

Asura and Leviathan

In Feymarch. Defeat King and Queen of Feymarch, Asura and Leviathan, to gain these summons. Start in the Passage of Eidolons and work your way to B3 where there will be a portal to Feymarch.

Odin:

In Baron Castle in the basement of the East Tower. You need to have defeated King and Queen of the Eidolons first. Just defeat Odin to gain this summon. Also, have Edge keep stealing during this battle to gain the Darkness Augment.

Bahamut:

In the Lair of the Father B3 on the Moon. Defeat Bahamut to gain this summon. You need to beat the King and Queen of Feymarch before you're able to battle Bahamut. He's kind of a ♥♥♥♥ about it too.
