In Doom 64 the Demon also appears, although most of the time it is called "Bull demon". They are resurrected corpses of enemies that appeared in the original 1993 Doom, brought back to life by the Demon Mother. They are made from systematically altered dead carnage that has been converted back into corrupted living tissue. The mutations were devastating. The Demons have returned stronger and more ferocious than before.

It first appears in MAP01: Staging Area.

This demon is one of the Doom 64 monsters known to have a physical reference model created by Gregor Punchatz.

He underwent a new design. The color of the body is somewhat lighter than the original, which was a strong reddish tone.

CODEX ENTRY

Their mutations have given them a bulkier, masculine, and a more menacing appearance, with black horns, smaller red eyes, and accentuated teeth and claws.

Combat Analysis

Like its previous counterpart, the Bull Demon has no ranged attack and relies on speed and savagery to kill the player, running in zigzag formations and biting.

That said, it also retains its main weaknesses, the chainsaw, which will stun the Demon and prevent damage if you can find a corner or narrow hallway to back away from without it surrounding you. In larger rooms the super shotgun is preferable as they are usually found in groups that can flank you if you try to use a chainsaw.
