Goals and introduction
Last updated for 3.0.7

Updated for better results.

The goal of this guide is to show a way to not only solve all the negative situations, but also make significant improvements in as many areas as possible.
Our Rayne will be a sort of capitalist enlightened despot.
By the end of this step-by-step guide, we will:
  • fix the economy
  • strenghten the military while taking away their power to hijack Sordish politics
  • expand human rights
  • deal with corruption

  • improve infrastructure, production, trade, tourism and every single regional economy
  • improve workers' rights
  • vastly improve welfare
  • deal with organised crime
  • deal with the threat of Rumburg
  • retain control of our energy industry

This playthrough is also perfect for importing into Rizia for a number of reasons.
  • Rizia is allowed to invest into Gasom
  • No trade deal with Wehlen means better trade conditions for Rizia
  • Sordish recovery is helpful for the bonds deal
  • High wine exports to Rizia
  • Cheap gas prices are harmful for Rizia, we keep them fluctuating here

Conclusion
With the economy (and quite much everything) fixed and a new superpower alliance with Rumburg and a new space program in the making, I think the future of Sordland is looking promising.

The budget may look bad, but it's a somewhat untrustworthy indicator. More importantly Symon will say that the national debt stayed the same as it was in the beginning of the term so it's really not all that bad.

I hope this guide was helpful for something, and feedback is always welcome.

That does make a lot of sense. Great guide, thanks again!

It's the only way to deal with "Rumburg Expansionism" without causing another issue.

Hi, thanks for you detailed reply. May I squeeze in one more question then 🤠 - Why do you choose the peace path with Rumburg in the end, when you could beat them alone? Also for the economy? Or to prepare a particular Rizia run?

Hi, keep in mind that this is for 3.0, so if you play on the 3.1 beta this guide is outdated.

1. Just to get the increased production situation. Without the military it's only possible to either improve production or infrastructure, but with the synergy of military funding and military investment you can get both.

2. Only to purge the generals, yes, although the relocation of teachers and doctors decree is also useful, because it allows you to recover the economy of Agnland without investing into GASOM.

3. 4. I didn't veto it, on turn 6 I wrote "sign Central Bank Act (-9)". The energy price bill probably happened because you vetoed it.

5. I didn't get exposed, because as long as you control the media and the Assembly not even the Anti-Corruption Police can touch you. Although it's kind of silly because my media control was through Koronti, but it still works.

Hi, interesting perspective - thank you!
I have 5 questions:

1. What’s your reasoning behind funding the military, when you don’t intend to fight Rumburg?

2. What’s your reasoning behind pursuing dictatorial powers? Is it simply to be able to enact the decree to purge the military leadership? (1 Red indicator turned orange, but then you get new negative “Green Generals”)

3. What’s your reasoning behind vetoing the Central Bank Act?

4. Did you not get the Energy Price Control Bill in your run?

5. Did you not get exposed as corrupt in the end, after Tusk, Marcel and Albin reveal the bribes?

Thanks again!

You can, but you'll be kicked from the party. Just don't talk about it before the constitution vote or it won't pass. I think you can still be re-elected if you make a new party although I didn't test it.

Hey guys, can i put Soll on trial or does this ruin my re-election?

Good guide, worked for the most part (3.09) except some trouble with the stronger decrees. I had to restart. Saying dictatorial stuff wasn’t enough. I had to say “screw the reformists, let’s work with the NFP instead” (something like that) to get stronger decrees
Lord-Zap Mar 16 @ 2:14pm
Thanks, it worked.

You only need to make a joint statement with the NFP and PFJP on Victory Day to get the bill.

"The USP will join the statement with the NFP. We will argue that Bludish people are considered Sords before the law, as Mr. Kibener suggested."
