60 FPS instead of 25 FPS

I tried everything to make it work in 60 fps. and as you know playing in 25 fps is a pain, so I found a good way to get rid of that and I'm gonna share it with people who love San Andreas and every other GTA game as much as I do.

Method 1: Simple turning off the Vsync in graphic card settings does the job.

AMD cards

Download and install RadeonPro Download here [www.radeonpro.info]
Open the program and "Add new profile"
Select the corresponding game executable
Locate the "Tweaks" tab to the right and set "Vsync control" to Always on
In the same tab make sure "Triple Buffering" it's also ticked
Right click on the just created profile on the left and press "Apply now"

And for Nvidia Cards ;)

Download and open Nvidia Inspector Download here [www.guru3d.com]
Press on the tools button
Search for the game profile in the search bar and click on it
Set "Vertical Sync" to Force On
Set "Triple Buffering" to On
Apply changes

After that, just turn off the fps limiter in gta sa ;) It worked for me so it should work for you too ;)

Method 2: Thanks to BFeely
You can also install a silent patch to fix lag problems and any other ones that R* didn't fix

Silent patch:
Download here [www.gamemodding.net]
Asi loader:
Download here [www.gtagarage.com]

1. Download silent patch 1.1, unzip, paste .asi AND .ini file in San Andreas directory.
2. Download asi loader 1.2, unzip, paste 2 vorbis files in San Andreas directory.

Method 3: Installing FPS Limit Adjuster
Link: Download here [www.gtagarage.com]

This doesnt work great but You can run it at 30 fps or how many Fps you want

None of those work for me, neither silent fix, or fps adjuster

Anyone reading this, going more than 30fps on GTASA is actually a bad idea, since high fps can break tons of stuff like making the driving school impossible. Old games like GTASA didnt account for future computers running their games at 100 fps so removing/disabling the limit will ruin your gameplay as it was not intended

this is outdated, just use the Framerate Vigilante mod

or just open NVIDIA control panel and limit to 60 when on GTA SA

the game would break if you turn the limiter off

or you could just turn off the frame limiter?

the third method is severely outdated, im going to suggest again to use framerate vigilante + silentpatch instead of any of these, you get bug fixes for both framerate problems and other problems, and you can set fps limit to anything you want in the framerate vigilante config
