Introduction
So, I saw two guides here on Steam about cloning your own character. Both guides don't require mods (a plus, on my eyes) but the game's engine is really buggy to handle the same character on the game twice. So, I decided to give a shot in how you can clone your own character.

If you want to give those a shot, here they are:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=320739114

Note 1: This guide was made in mind for someone that knows the basics about modding.

Note 2: This guide requires you to have access to Skyrim Nexus.

Note 3: None of these mods are mine, I will not support errors from them. DO NOT ASK.

Step 1: Get the mods
The mods you need are:

Familiar Faces[www.nexusmods.com] and its dependencies, which are:

After installing everything, make sure these folders exists: *your Skyrim installed folder*\Skyrim\data\textures\Chargen\Exported, like below:

If it doesn't, then create both, like above.
Step 2: Create a 'familiar face'
Fire up the game and use the 'Portal Stone' misc item you just got from the mod. If it doesn't appear, save the game, quit it and start it again OR wait for some in-game minutes.

Then create a familiar face, by going in one of the books and selecting 'Begin writing...', like below:

After that, you'll get this:

Step 3: Configuration
Now, set your clone into existence.

Pause the game, go to Mod Configuration > Familiar Faces > Shrine of Heroes and make the option go from this:

To this:

Now, configure where you want your clone to appear, in this case, I chose Riverwood, but it can be anywhere, including interiors.

Pause the game, go to Mod Configuration > Familiar Faces > Character Setup > Hangout, then Riverwood, like below.

You can also set the clone to be marriable here, on the option Can marry player, as seen below.

Step 4: Recruit yourself
Now, to recruit yourself. I went back to Riverwood and found my clone here, sitting on a former tree:

Then the normal recruit steps:

And done. Now can marry yourself or do whatever you want.

You can also set the voicetype and class on the Character Setup menu.

To get there, pause the game, go to Mod Configuration > Familiar Faces > Character Setup.
FAQ
1. My clone has a darker face then my own!
Calm down, do this:

Pause the game, go to Mod Configuration > Familiar Faces > Debugging > Force character refresh. Mark the checkbox and unpause the game. Done.

2. What's that armor?
The armor is Demon Hunter Armor - CBBEv3 and UNP[www.nexusmods.com] (not mine)

3. Can I have more than one clone?
No, due to how the mod works, only one of the same character can be summoned at all times. But feel free to create more followers using your older characters, I mean, that's what the mod is for.

I'm still having problems with this mod, I can't change the "settings for" to the specific character I have summoned.

Yes, I do, but the command is very glitchy, since the game wasn't made for this.

I use True Vision ENB [www.nexusmods.com], killing my framerate in half, a lot of 2k texture mods and retextures for the armors. You can find everything you need on Skyrim Nexus.

I hope you don't mind me going off topic a bit here, but I'm new to Skyrim (TES in general, actually). Is there anywhere I can find your mod list/could you explain to me how to get my game looking like yours (character mods, embs, etc.)? Thanks
