Intro

Guide is still in progress! The images are giving me a hard time so I'm taking a break but making it public for now. Some segments likely need a look over by me later haha

Hello everyone! I'm nastymold, and I make Sky content on YouTube - nice to meet you PC community! I've been working hard to bring the Sky community updated videos lately, and so I'm making some Steam guides to match!

If you are a more visual learner, I have a complete video guide on my YouTube channel to help players out. I highly recommend following along with a video, especially for the Storm section. The Statues we need to find are pretty well hidden and a video would definitely help!

I also HIGHLY recommend checking out the Sky Wiki [sky-children-of-the-light.fandom.com] if you have any additional questions! They are absolutely wonderful over there. Now let's get into everything about the Eye of Eden!
Before we begin
Warning ! End game spoilers ahead.

The Eye of Eden is the final realm within Sky, and is extremely hard compared to the others before. It's ruthless and filled with dangers, from crabs to krill, to endless raining rocks. It is highly recommended it go with other players if you are a beginner, they can help keep you lit and come to you if in any danger.

Bringing handy props such as a bonfire or brazier are also extremely helpful in some situations. Elder Masks are very recommended for veteran players, as they can help you tank hits without losing your light.

The end goal of this section of the game is to rebirth and to do so, well, we have to die. Completing the Eye of Eden means that you will lose all of the Winged Light you've collected. At the same time, we also want to prolong our death as much as possible while we travel through and rescue Skykid Statues. This means that we really want to bring as much Winged Light with us as possible. Some to give away to earn Ascended Candles, and some to help us make it to the very end.

If this is your first time playing, the maximum you can enter with is 108 Winged Light. There are 10 more Winged Lights hidden within the Eye of Eden, making that a total of 118 Winged Light before we reach the very end.

The goal is to make it as far as we can and reach Orbit, collecting Ascended Candles along the way. We then can use the Ascended Candles to strengthen our Wings in the next life.

Entering Eden
To enter through the massive gateway, players must first complete all 6 realms (Isle, Prairie, Forest, Valley, Wasteland, and Vault) and watch the Elder cutscenes within the realm temples.

There is a secondary barrier in which you need a minimum of 20 Winged Light to enter. It is recommended to come with as many as you can find. First-time players can find a total of 108 throughout all realms with an additional 10 found within Eden.

If you need help finding more Winged Light I have a full Winged Light guide here:
(steam guide in progress, should be finished tomorrow)
(video in progress, should be uploaded tomorrow!)

Once we're all set let's move past the barrier and enter at last!

1/4 Map Shrine
There are a total of 4 Map Shrines within the Eye of Eden and Orbit. The first can be found just to the left once you've entered the door.

From here, light all 5 buttons to open the next door.
Phase 1
Rock Rain + Wind

This is the most simple part of the Eye of Eden but compared to what we've experienced in previous realms, it's pretty brutal. Make your way up the hill and keep a sharp eye for raining rocks from the left - you can hide safely behind tall stones. There should be two sections of raining rocks here.

Carry onward to a windy gap, you'll need to wait for the breeze to calm down before jumping - wait and watch the fabric strips ahead. Once they're waving slower, take this opportunity to leap the gap.

1/10 Eden Winged Light
Caution with this Winged Light, be sure to let it collect completely before advancing to the next area.
If you move too fast it may not count as collected.

Phase 2
Heavy Rock Rain

From here there is a large hill to climb with minimal cover. Keep an eye out for changes in the weather - when lightning strikes, the wind is about to begin once again. Try and keep close to any ledges to hide behind once you see the lightning strike. There are scattered braziers around that you can use to gain light back. Remember to keep an eye out for your fellow Skykids - if you see them get hit by rocks please be courteous and help pick up their dropped light, if at all able to :)

Carry on through the pipe but watch out for patrolling Krill

2/4 Map Shrine

Surprise! Another Map Shrine immediately to your left once you're out of the pipe!

Wait at the pipe exit for the first Krill to pass, then make your way up the path and hide underneath a broken piece of bridge. Wait for it to pass once again and then make a run for it!

There is a second Krill that patrols around the Crab pipe, you should be able to just run through and be fine, there's enough coverage that if the Krill happens to spot you, you'll be hidden again in a second.

Enter the Crab pipe and work your way upward.
Phase 3
Before the Storm

Our last stretch before we reach the Point of No Return. We are in the most dangerous part of the path now with very little cover. Try and stay behind various slabs or tall rocks and make your way up. There are 3 braziers around that you can recharge with.

Once you've made it to the final section of this area there will be a krill patrolling along with rock rain. Try and time it right so the krill passes by and the rock rain ends and run up the steps to the hallway.

9 Winged Light (10/10)

To the left of the hallway, there is 1 Winged Light. Down the hallway you can easily find the remaining 8 Winged Light.
Point of No Return + Stormlock
Point of No Return

Once we've collected the 10th Winged Light be careful going forward. If you only wanted the maximum Winged Light count, now is your opportunity to head back home through the menu and get away safely.

Beyond this is the Point of No Return. If you enter you will die and lose all collected Winged Light. You cannot leave until your character is reborn.

Stormlock

I wasn't kidding about not being able to return! Once heading forward, your home button will be greyed out. If you close the game and reopen it, you will find yourself in an eerie Stormlocked Home or Aviary Village. All realm gates are empty, shop doors have a barrier over them. The wind paths are closed off from you. The only way to get the Village back to normal is by returning to Eden and finishing your rebirth.
Eden Storm
Here is the most dangerous - but most vital section of Eden. This is where our characters will inevitably die, but in the process earn a special currency in which we can purchase permanent Winged Light or "Wing Buffs" from the spirits we've found. Find as many Statues as you can, and gift them your Light.

Be careful, watch for visual and audio cues with the Storm, and try to make a run for the next Statue

Lanterns are scattered around in helpful locations- be sure to light them when you see them. You can always come back to a previously lit lantern if you happen to lose your light.

Sacrifice collected Winged Light at each Skykid Statue you see - in doing so you'll light them up slightly. Each rescued Statue gives .25% wax towards Ascended Candles once you've reached Orbit. There are a total of 63 Statues within the Storm.

.. but wait!

3/4 Map Shrine
Immediately upon entering take a peek to your right to find a Map Shrine!

Okay, now continue on!

Make your way up through the storm, lighting as many Statues as you can. A video guide is highly recommended for this part. Keep going until you inevitably die to the Storm.
Ascent
You're back! Pick up this glowing kid and give them a hug.

Now make your way straight up, and enjoy the view.
Ascended Candles and Wing Buffs
Gain Ascended candles from the rescued Statues - the maximum you can gain is 15.75 per week

Use ascended candles to strengthen yourself after rebirth - each Wing Buff you purchase is equal to one Winged Light
Elders
Fully complete a realms constellation to summon the elder of that specific realm, purchase all items from all spirits in that realm (minus tier 2 capes) to achieve 100% completion. Press the flag button to summon an elder.

Each elder has their own unique hairstyle, and 3 elders offer Elder Masks. The hairstyles must be purchased first before you can access the Elder Masks.

Elder Masks are face accessories that grant additional protection from the dangers of Sky. Tank extra hits from crabs or krill before you mask finally breaks. You can recharge an Elders mask in Orbit, or through that Elders specific temple. (eg. Isle Elder Mask is repaired at the Isle of Dawn temple)
Orbit
Free Heart

Just past the Constellation Stone and toward the right is a secret glittering bridge. Atop, is a mysterious shrine which we can collect 1 Heart from.

This is a one time only interaction.

4/4 Map Shrine

Just past the Constellation Stone and toward the right is a secret glittering bridge. Below, is our final Map Shrine for the Eye of Eden.

Carry on to collect your permanent Wing Buffs from any spirits you may have Ascended, these Wing Buffs will be what you start your next life with. If you've collected 3 Wing Buffs you will start out with 3 Winged Light (Plus 1 from the upcoming Orbit Winged Light!) You can Ascend and unlock Permanent Wing buffs from every base game spirit - sometimes even two from one spirit, and you can unlock them from Travelling Spirits as well. Make your way through the portal at the end to be reborn!

1/1 Orbit Winged Light

Surprise! One additional Wing Buff is obtained once the cutscene starts playing (you do not have to watch the cutscene) this means that you start your new life with 1 Winged Light plus however many Wing Buffs you've unlocked!
Eye of Eden Schedule
The Eye of Eden is intended to be a once-a-week activity. Once you've saved a Statue, you will not be able to do it again until Sunday reset. If you've missed a few Statues you can absolutely go back and rescue them!

Reset is Sunday 12AM Pacific Time

Now take a nice break and come back next week to do it all over again
