Fix: Slowed down game and choppy music as of Ver.1.5.0
By 3RDplayer
Problem: The game runs slowed down and the music sounds choppy and broken as of Ver1.5.0. Instead of adding a Framerate setting in Graphics Options how any sane developer would, they decided to lock the framerate via Controller Settings instead. Here is how to fix that!

Problem
The game runs slowed down and the music sounds choppy and broken. The reason is that he game runs at limited framerate. The solution to that would be to implement a Framerate Setting in the GRAPHICS OPTIONS. But KONAMI in all their wisdom decided to lock the framerate via the CONTROLLER SETTINGS instead!
Fix
- Start the actual game from the list of versions
- Get annoyed by Konami's incompetence one last time
- Hit the Pause Menu Buttons
- Open Controller Settings
- Change the "Controller Response Speed" to "Fast".
This unlocks the framerate to how it should be. The slowdown and choppy sound is gone.

Why?
Why am I writing this? Because I spend 30 minutes searching the Forum for a solution but all the search results for Framerate Issues turned out worthless as of Ver1.5.0. Then I thought that the framerate could be affected by the new Input Lag setting they added. This turned out true. So I spare you time and a headache with this guide. Have fun!

This fixed it.
To open the Pause Menu pictured above (at least with a ps4 controller), press L1+R1

Hey dude, though this didn't work for me because for some reason KONAMI had the brainpower to not let me use controller settings even when I was on controller, I'm sure you've helped a lot of people with this and just wanna say thanks for helping out. Mentioned you in my review (it was negative) btw. Sure, I won't get to experience Metal Gear Solid 1, but it's still good that people like you are helping out. Many thanks on behalf of the community.
