Forbidden Fantasy the RPG: Walkthrough Guide

These guides are created to assist players in locating hard to find items or secrets that may have been missed.
It also provides a simple walkthrough with the objective of advancing through the main story chapters.

Walkthrough: Lodeen Isles (Prologue)

Chapter: Prologue

Lodestone Village:

Amidst the picturesque scenery, you'll find a bountiful harvest of kuka and garni berries. In the released v1.02b update or later, these berries will respawn every 2-3 days, a vital resource for those traversing the challenging Real Mode or higher difficulties.

Little Oasis:

When night falls, beware of the tougher thugs and bandits lurking in the shadows. Take them on for the chance to obtain higher gold rates and stat bonuses tailored to your unique playstyle.

Abandoned Ruins (Dungeon)

This not-so-newbie dungeon is intended for adventurers at levels 8-13, but if you had familiarized yourself well with the battle mechanics, you might dare to face it as early as level 6. Success holds a grand reward of 3 Safety Wards.

If you encounter defeat in battle, your wards will be consumed instead, saving you from a certain game over or imprisonment+ outcome.

Port Lodeen

The bustling port houses a mercenary in the port bar, he possess a limited set of skills that helps with drawing enemies' attention (aggro). He has alot of HP though, and a nice special move to top it off.



Keep in mind that traveling from Lodeen Isles to Nephalia is a one-way journey. Before you embark on your quest, be sure to activate the teleportation crystal for a safe passage back!

Walkthroughs: Chapter 1, Evendale Kingdom (Part I)

Chapter 1: Evendale Kingdom (Part I)

From the Prologue to Chapter 1 and beyond, these guides will serve as your compass, leading you to secret treasures, thrilling encounters, and delightful surprises.:

I won't be stating the too obvious nor the standard RPGing stuff here and onwards, but only those little things that are easy to miss.

1. Weapons store - Nunchaku (Hits 3 times as normal attack... Whaatttaaahh!)

2. Rufold the Dealer in Cedarwood West markets - He sells special 'potions'. While it may appear counter-intuitive, consuming these items in emergencies can turn the tides if you are struggling in a long and arduous dungeon. He is also the only guy that sells analeptic potions (65% chance to revive one party member)

3. Jasmond the Apprentice Mage can be found at the Cozy Cuppa Teahouse.
His forte is Fire Magic and he has decent support magic spells as well. He may very well prove to be very useful against battles against undead or worms.



4. Brett the Thug can be found at the Foaming Mug
He is a street thug with a penchant for blinding the opponent, as well as quick in reflexes. If you are not going for a "Thief" class route, perhaps having Brett sticking around may provide you with more lucrative battle rewards with his Steal skills.

The fatworms have grease oil drops that is part of *Straund's Bridge Quest*

Fenbren Village

There's a very important side-quest here that could potentially save you from hours of frustration when you traverse the Tower of Elbris later.



To trigger this sidequest, you'll need to speak to the Distraught Wife, who is panicking around in the middle of the village square. After completing this quest, you will be rewarded with a "Windshear Jewel" that allows you to critically reduce strength of the merciless sandstorms when climbing up the tower of Elbris.



You realise that you might not pick the quest up immediately. If you're into roleplaying, then you would know that she needs time to wait through before getting desperate about her husband situation.

In any case, head down to the village tavern marked in red circle (see screenshot below) and speak to one of the patrons. He'll buy you a drink and waste some hours until the night falls.

Claudia panicks and requests for help after 19:00 hours (evening)

Deserted Mines (Dungeon)

If "Careless Husband" quest was triggered, then Frederick would appear in B1 of the deserted mines. Otherwise, this would just be a typical exploratory kind of dungeon without any questline. There are some nice goodies in the chests though.

Straund's Bridge Quest

a. The reparation of the bridge is pretty straight forward, fetch and return quest.
If you are struggling with the Grease oil portion, scroll back up to Eldergreen Caves B1 for tips.

b. A continuation quest has been implemented for Straund's bridge.
Speak to him again and he will mention that there was a missing cogwheel somewhere up north.

Once the quest is triggered, it should be easy to spot with the tile that is sparkling in the forest, past the bridge north.


You will receive a Ring of Guts after completing a minigame in the basement.
If Lance is getting smacked hard a lot, this ring will save him. 🤣

Walkthroughs: Chapter 2, The Empire of Magania

Chapter 2: Guide & Walkthrough

Congratulations on getting past Zeebus the Dungeonmaster!

The guide will assist you in your adventures in Chapter 2, the Empire of Magania, and revealing some dark secrets that lie waiting for unsuspecting travelers!

Main story progression:

• Seek an audience with the King and obtain a pass to travel beyond the Forest of Gloom
  *In order to gain passage to the south parts of Magania, you need to first visit the Magania Watchtower Sentry, then you’ll need to ‘persuade’ the King with your own choices.
  
  
  
• Get past the forests of Gloom, past the Ashen Wilderness to arrive at the Tower of Nix
  
  Refer to areas of interest
  
  
• Retrieve the Serpent Orb (hopefully?)
  The story progression entails a major battle against one of the Tormentrio, Yundel the Slavemaster, at the top of the Tower of Nix.
  
  
  
• Defeat Yundel to progress with the story.

Spoiler warning ahead!
For unlocking the choice of joining the dark side - Corruption Stat >=5 (more than)
If your Corruption stat is more than 20, turning to the dark side will be auto-progression without any options.
Likewise, if Purity Stat is higher than 5, there will be no option to join the dark side.

Purity Route - Escape from Tower of Nix (Chapter 3)

• After the escape scene, head into Town Dustings to initiate another cutscene.
  
  If you have met Daynia Brightfell in Chapter 1 prior to the current events, she will appear in the cutscene indicating interest to support your cause.
  (if you unlocked this scene, Daynia will join your party in the middle of Chapter 3)
  
• After the scenes, return to Magania > Mystigan Mage Coven to initiate yet another scene where Melissa directs you to return to Evendale Kingdom.
  
  
• Return to Evendale Castle (use teleport)
  Speak to Queen Anaya again, and you’ll be furnished with a new ship access
  (and maybe a powerful companion!)
  
  

Areas of Interest:

Conventional route:

• Forests of Gloom:
  There’s 2 methods to get past this area:
  a. Easy: Complete the potion quest, which can be found on the northeast of the forest
  b. Fairly difficult: Kill the Gloomtrap Plant boss. (unlocks an achievement, too!)
  
  
  
• Dexter’s Mansion:
  When you first get past the Forests of Gloom, there will be a small cutscene where Lance (and Melissa) asks to check out the mansion that appears north of the forest area.
  Seek out and complete the side quest to acquire a pair of “Abestos Pants”.
  This special leg piece is designed to withstand fire damage to a certain extent, as well as completely negating fire traps in the Tower of Nix!
  Be sure to get them if you dislike stepping on fire traps!
  
  
  
• Tower of Nix:
  It’s a hotttt tower!!
  Fiery monsters dwell within and to make matters worse, it’s covered in corrupted fog!
  Water-based attacks are exceptionally effective in this area.
  If you have Melissa in your party, she will cast an anti-fog barrier so that you can climb up the tower without being constantly horny!
  If you have the Abestos Pants equipped within any one in your party, you will completely mitigate the effects of all fire traps as well!
  

Off-track route:
• Magan Slums:
  There’s an exceptional fighter/tank that can be hired into your team.
  Be mindful though, Thorm’s a hooligan and he can be really mean sometimes!
  In one of the houses, there’s a secret passage leading to a bandit’s hideout.
  
  
  
  Pazzu Mines
  This dungeon is designed for levels 24-30, be really careful if you are venturing deep into the mines. An Orc village side quest leads to this area for completion.
  
  
  
  
• Freygrande Caves
  This dungeon is designed for levels 32-36, be mindful if you are venturing deep!
  A powerful (Corruption) treasure awaits a new owner.
  
  
  
  
• Bollux Bastion Town (Teleport Point)
  Several side quests (NSFW included) are available in this town.
  Many new equipment pieces are unique to this town as well!
  
  
  
• Styx Coast Lighthouse
  A treasure sits at the top of the lighthouse for claiming.
  
  
  
• Jizzu S.Settlement (Teleport Point)
  This town is a placeholder for future s.type quests.
  Currently there is only 1 functioning side quest
  Key highlight: Restraint Keys are sold here during daytime.

Walkthroughs: Chapter 3 & 4 (Purity Route), The Realms of Akendius

Chapter 3~4 Purity Route: Guide & Walkthrough

Congratulations on acquiring access to your new ship!
Sadly, it doesn’t actually belong to you, but hey,
It’s bringing you to places previously inaccessible!

The guide will assist you in your adventures in Chapter 3 to 4, in the realms of Akendius, where the east and west are having a state of war.

At this point of the game, the map is considered to be open for exploration and you may be required to strengthen your party before progressing in the main story.
The enemy levels will vary greatly from area to area, so consider yourself warned!

Main story progression (Purity Chapter 3):

• Arrive at Pagoda Nation (West Akendius) and travel towards the Tower of Draeven.
  
  
  
• Reach the Tower of Draeven (3 Major Battles)
  
  
  
• Battle the adversary waiting for you (Challenging: Recommended Level 30+)
  
• Defeat the evil being (Difficult: Recommended Level 35+)
  
• Resist the demon and triumph over him in battle. (Very Hard: Recommended Level 40+)

Main story progression (Purity Chapter 4):

• Navigate your way to Fort Akendius (Realm of Akendius Map, Eastern side)
  
  
  
• Seek an audience with the Lord of the East
  Complete his request with your available options.
  Return to him to get his approval for his engineer Sidd to assist with your ship upgrade.
  
  
  
• Complete Sidd’s request (warning: Lengthy quest)
  - Damascus Ores can be collected around Forbidden Frontier, an area infested with demons (Levels 35~40+)
  
  
  - Akendian Engine Oil can be directly purchased in Akondi East (Traveler’s Trunk)
  
  
  
  - Alluminum Metals is dropped from slime enemies in the Southern Basin
  (directly east of the enemy military camp)
  
  
  
  - Floatwood can be obtained from spriggans around the forests in Pagoda Nation.
  
  
  - Kaiser Crystal can be obtained by defeating the Sanguine Dragon (Level 40+) at the deserted castle at the far south corner of Forbidden Frontier.
  
  The dragon will only appear after 7pm.
  Make sure you have fire resistance equipment prepared for this battle!
  
  
• Heading to Daemacron - Prepare for the Final battle! (Recommended Level 40~50+)
  Daemacron is directly north above Pagoda Castle.
  Simply fly your airship over to enter the demon realm.
  
  *Note 1:
  There is an optional super boss “Hydra” (Level 100+) at the B1 of the Tower of Chaos.
  To unlock the entrance to B1, you’ll have to light up certain ‘items of interest’.
  You can light them up in any order to trigger the unlock sequence.
  
  
• Once you are ready, head up the Tower of Chaos to find the true villain of the chain of catastrophic events leading up to the release of the Prime Demons.

Pagoda Nation (WEST AKENDIUS) - Areas of Interest:

Conventional route:
• Ilbaden Caves:
  A unique treasure awaits the brave adventurer.
  
  
  
• Tunnels of Peril:
  There are 3 sections to the tunnels, the middle section leads to a bounty boss from Pagoda (Pale Horse)
  
  
  
• Tower of Draeven (Teleport Dungeon Point):
  3 Difficult battles await you in this tower as you progress along the Purity route.
  
  
  Off-track route:
  
• Mizoram Fish Village (Teleport Point)
  Side quests available for players to further increase EXP.
  
  
  
• Wilbrook Fort (Teleport Point)
  Side quests available for players to further increase EXP.

Fort Akendius (EAST AKENDIUS) - Areas of Interest:

Conventional route:

• Rhakeev Settlement (Teleport Point):
  Several side-quests available in this town for players to further increase EXP
  Exclusive darksteel weaponry and armor available
  
  
  
• Fort Akendi (Teleport Point: Akondi East)
  Many new equipment and weapons available in town
  Common-high level equipment is made available here as well.
  Some rare or quest items may be found here.
  
  
  
• Forbidden Frontier (Area):
  This is an area where you will be required to access to complete one of Sidd Skyangel’s arduous task. Damascus ores can be mined around these parts.
  Make sure you have a pickaxe ready!
  
  
  
• Sofudeek’s Faction Camp
  You will be headed here on the Lord’s orders to repel his brother’s troops away from his lands. There is a NSFW (Promiscuity >5) option to clear this quest.
  
  
  
• Dragon Castle (Forbidden Frontier)
  There’s nothing of interest here, except for the tough dragon boss fight which you will be undertaking to acquire the Kaiser Crystal for Sidd. Note that the dragon will only return to the castle after 7pm!
  
  
  
  
• Daemacron (Demon World, Tower of Chaos)
  This is the final area where the protagonist has to travel to, in order to unravel the grand master plan that the hidden villain had planned. (Recommended Level to clear Tower of Chaos: Lv 55+)
  
  Off-track route:
  
• Arkheen Battle Ruins
  There is a (somewhat) hidden treasure among the ruins, as well as a side quest from Town Akondi that leads to this location.
  
  
  
• Mysterious Sandstorm
  This is another static puzzle where the players may get frustrated by being unable to pass. There is an NPC in Akondi WEST that briefly mentioned that he survived the sandstorm. Pay him to receive the exact instructions on how to navigate past the sandstorm!
  
  
  
• Cave of the Abyss (Recommended: Level 60+)
  This is an optional super enemy / boss area where Tier 2 chests can be found.
  If you can rough it out in this dungeon, you may acquire unique artifacts and powerful weapons that can assist you throughout the game!

Hi ydyp, speak to the quest giver again he will give you multiple hints where to get the items. For moss stones they are in eldergreen caves. Likewise for other quests, speak to the quest giver again to get more hints

Missing the dropping location and monsters for the moss stones needed to repair the bridge. Being stuck on that part for ages now and had hoped this guide would have given me a hint at least.
