Hotline Miami Guide: how to cook meth, find barcodes and do other achievements.

This guide will show you how to cook meth, get the bar codes and do other acheivments and general tips. Tell me below if I missed anything.

How to find the bar codes

1. find crowbars and open all crates in underground area (crowbars spawn randomly, both upstairs and underground).
2.listen to bain he will mention a city for example "shaw"
3. look at the map and match that city to a crate item, for example furs match shaw so the bar code is in the furs. There may be more then 1 crate of an item.
4. take bar code and put it into scanner, keep in mind that once you pick up a bar code you have to use it to get rid of it.

How to cook meth

1. If you are playing with random teamates make sure they know what they are doing, only one person should cook a batch of meth anyway so nobody gets confused on the order.
2. look at chart on the wall. The steps to cook are always the same as below
3. The ingedents will spawn in crates downstairs and in boxes inside the meth lab.
4.You can NOT always make six bags of meth, its spawns are random

Phew achievment

1. on the 2nd day you may find a hostage with an explosive vest (on the middle floors)
2. defuse it and you will also get some cash

walk faster achievment

1. learn the map for day 2
2. use a class that can run at least somewhat fast
3. have one person bring a saw for the gate (c4 does NOT work)
4. As soon as you make it to the door at he top that needs c4 it will pop (you don't have to open it).

The sounds of animals Achievement

The Four masks you get for owning hotline miami DO NOT count for the sounds of animals achievement.These masks are found under the normal tab

The four masks you have to use are found under the dlc tab with a yellow hotline miami tag.

Other tips

1. On day 2 of the heist put almost all of the drops on the top floor as you will be spending most of the time up there.
2.killing cops can add to your basball bat kills.
3. On day 2 of the heist Just leave the coke on the table so you dont have to worry about it untill the heli arrives

You can put it or any cash found by the bomb guy on top of the shelf.

I just wanted to let any readers of this guide to know that as of now, all of these achievements are solo-able using your bot crew.

I did all of them over the last two days, the final one being the animals fighting one obviously, because I had to get the masks to do it, and I earned the achievement after finishing the heist on hard, with each of the four required masks equipped on a different member of the crew, running no mods or anything.

To guarantee six sets of chemicals will spawn in the crates for the meth-cooking one, use this video as a guide:
